We booked this hotel for its location (we were arriving by ferry and departing by train!) but were delighted by the huge room, friendly staff, & lovely restaurant. Our room was larger than expected with a huge bed. They'd accommodated our request for a cot, which was beautifully presented and perfectly positioned discreetly on the other side of the room...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May 2017. I arrived by ship from the UK and the hotel was easy to find - close to the port. Parking for up to 30 minutes right outside was easy, then you either park in the hotel car park or else where. The hotel garage is situated under the hotel...

We are on a 14 night driving tour of northern Spain, roundtrip from Madrid including Burgos, Bilboa, Santander, Santillana del Mar, Potes, Llanes, Santiago de Compostela, Pinhao (Douro, Portugal), Segovia. Hotel was easy to find and it was a new experience for us to drive a car into an elevator for the parking garage but it was a secure, convenient...

No problems with this hotel very clean comfortable and well priced with excellent bar and snacks downstairs. Restaurant didn't open to eight thirty in the evening and seemed bit over-whelmed with sudden influx of hungry diners but fine. Must go back to Santander as its much more interesting than expected.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Bahia for twelve nights. We were very pleased with the hotel location convenient to move in every direction. The room was clean and comfortable with all necessities adequately covered. We noticed some noise issues due to slamming of doors. I believe this could be easily remedied by installing foam strips with glue...

A comfortable hotel just across the road from the Brittany Ferries terminal. It has secure on site parking if you are travelling with a loaded car that you don't want to leave in a public car park. Also convenient for the railway station.

Very nice hotel, great views and polite staff! Prices more than competitive! My husband and I regretted we were only staying one night. Hotel Bahia was in a great central location, making it easy to walk to explore the town and the historical areas.

Next to the old cathedral. High quality good sized room. Higher rooms get great views either over the sea or the town. Cannot comment on food/restaurant. Not a quiet location, busy roads all around, but its literally one minute across the road from the ferry terminal and 10 mins walk to the train/bus station.

Revisited several times - great location for ferry, views and minutes walk to the centre. We chose 10th floor with views overlooking sea. Lovely spacious room. Can't however recommend the restaurant for dinner - food choice, presentation, taste etc not good. No atmosphere. Did have upset tum for days after eating a fish course. Better to choose one of the...
