Ten Day all inclusive christmas break. The hotel has undergone a refurb and was clean and tidy.Rooms cleaned daily. Midsize hotel, arrived on my birthday to a bottle of champagne and basket of fruit, and a fourth floor reception side room with full ensuite, with bidet. The food was diverse, bar was on the 6th floor adjacent to a small pool, setting perfect for...

My sister and I spent a week at the Perla and were not disappointed. Food was lovely, house wine very reasonable at 5 euro a bottle/2 euro a glass so we did not feel ripped off as we have on occasion at other places. Our room was clean and spacious. It is not in the town centre but we sometimes...

Just returned from 10 day holiday at Perla. The hotel was just as we expected, did not disappoint. It is, in my opinion a 3 star budget hotel with a good reputation. I The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, with linen changed regularly. We stayed all inclusive and found this to be good value,...

The rooms are very much basic but depending on where your room is the hotel offers lovely views. The rooms are kept clean every day. The food is pretty much the same everyday except for dinner they may have rabbit, shark or octopus on. At dinner and tea you get offered a bottle of wine or beer if your all...

Staff was always friendly and willing to assist. There was entertainment nightly including bingo, disco and live music. Hotel is situated a good walk away from town but they...

The hotel is situated around 20 minutes walk (set in the hill) from the beach/centre. Good points: hotel very clean, staff pleasant, good budget accommodation, food was ok, bar area nice, pool area well maintained, plenty of sunbeds on roof terrace. Primarily caters for Spanish customers. Bad points: unsuitable location for those with mobilty problems, the hotel is set a...

I am not going to repeat what other, better, writers have written. The Hotel Perla is off the beaten track and is a realistic 15 minutes DOWN to the town in Puerto. The whole of Puerto de la Cruz is hilly. You are either walking up or down, don't go if this is an issue for you, head to the...

A quiet hotel, a good 20 minute walk from the promenade. All inclusive package was good value for money. Breakfast either hot or cold, plenty of choice. Cereals, yogurt, bread/toast all freely available and always topped up. Lunch and dinner were casual, again, plenty to choose from. Spanish food predominant but always chips/fries and new potatoes. Wine/beer offered with each...

This hotel is built on the side of a Barranco (valley). This means that the first three floors and part of the 4th are below street level and therefore rooms on the street side of the hotel have very limited views (usually a wall). Bearing in mind the amount of time you spend in your hotel room (apart from sleeping),...
