Excellent area, very close to the center. Parking quite difficult but you will be able to find something in the neighbourhood. The room (with bathroom ensuite) was basic but ok. There are bed, table, chair and wardrobe. Bed a bit unconfortable. Bathroom ok. Room cleaning every day and linen included. Staff friendly and available 24/7. Free wifi in the common... More

Beautiful area but unless your used to backpacking and can sleep anywhere then give this place a miss. I didnt sleep for 4 nights straight and came back home on the 5th day of a 10 day holiday. Arrecife is outstanding but the Pension San Gines was not!!

This is clean, good service, in the core of the city, good price vs quality, recepcionist really helpful for any inquire, the area is very convinient. Pleasant walks to the sea shore are very close. Indeed they are nearly sold out every night, so don't decide to remain more days on the spot.

Our double room was very basic, but spotless clean. The room was cleaned every day except Sunday. We stayed here for a week and some nights were noisy, because of other drunk English guests. There was no breakfast opportunity, but it is a b&b, so we missed it, because cafeterias were quite expensive to eat there every day. The cafeterias... More

Well as my title says we were really impressed with this pension and as said before it was better than a hotel apart from no lift, we were on the top floor=70 stairs room 303 no balcony but 2 large roof terraces available with good seating areas, the room itself was cleaned to a high standard,it had twin beds a... Big double room at the same price of a single one, perfectly cleaned, brand new bathroom, silence. The concierges I met were very kind and helped me to find an accommodation in Famara, in high season...and told me about arrecife and el chaco - a very beautiful old part of arrecife just a stone throw from the hotel. Find time... More

Stayed here 2 weeks. The place is spotless clean. New towels, beds made etc every day except Sundays. Supplied us with a fan when we asked free of charge. People on reception are great, especially the Latvian lady. Perfectly painted white inside and out. Nice roof terrace. Price excellent. Bars, restaurants 2 min walk away. The surrounding buildings could be... More

Just spent 10 nights here. I must admit, although it's only a 1 star I've stayed in worse 3 star hotels. The place is in an excellent location, about 100 yards from El Charco, with it's abundance of bars and fine eateries. The Pension itself is very safe and has a family feel to it. The staff couldn't do enough,... More

The room was fine but my xmas stay here was ruined by a group of idiots staying on my floor who slept all day and partied all night, the staff are welcoming but failed to react to the late night rowdiness so for this reason i would not return even at this price i felt quite intimidated at times
