Dear followers; Although Hotels.com mislead the hotel and I with the reservations ( I have two), The hotel personnel was extremely accommodating starting with Mrs. Susie and Yezenia at the front desk, Raquel and Alex, Bibian, among housekeeping, restaurant and bar; they really made me feel home during my long stay in February and beginning of March. In addition I...

Lovely classic Spanish hotel by the port however it's not 5* by international standards: no complimentary bottled water in the rooms, no valet/porter service with your bags to the rooms... Rooms are newly renovated and quaint. Breakfast is amazing and there is a huge selection. The hotel is a short walk to the marina where there are nice bars and...

We stayed two nights in the hotel, taking our evening meal there on both nights. We arrived late but were quickly shown to our room and welcomed in the restaurant which was about to close. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had a very comfortable room with a balcony at the back...

We had a week here, and fully appreciated the grandeur and heritage of the building. The rooms were clean comfortable and quiet, the staff and the service was very good, considering how busy it was. There was plenty of choice at the buffet style breakfast, which was regularly re-stocked.... I would definetly stay again.

Stayed for three nights in March 2017 on a deal through Expedia. The grounds in front of the hotel and the entrance are impressive. There is an outside bar terrace where the evening entertainment was a lady playing a mini grand piano. She was great but the piano itself sounded like it would be more at home in a saloon...

Whilst not quite up to modern standards of a five star hotel, it is still a lovely place to stay. An oasis of tranquillity in a busy city. The service in the bar and restaurant tends to be slow but breakfast is fine with a good selection of fresh fruit and cold and hot dishes which can be obtained without...

This is an iconic hotel located in an impressive old-style building with a lush park in front of it. From outsode the hotel looks amazing, very colonial and old-school grand. Inside has however not been maintained. The lobby is very boring with a sad old sofa and nowhere else to lounge or mingle. The staff is ok, not overly service...

Disappointing because 5 stars it is absolutely not, service was very very slow at bars and restaurant, didn't find the staff particularly friendly maybe 1 or 2, and most of the reception people unhelpful to say the least !!! Breakfast was not a five star breakfast , a regular buffet breakfast and nothing to order like fresh eggs. :-(. Beds...

We had a fantastic stay at Santa Catalina Hotel. We stayed in huge bedroom which had a very large and comfortable King Size bed. The bedroom was furnished with classical dark wooden pieces of furniture included a large wardrobe and a desk. The enjoyed an immense private terrace with table and chairs. The service was professional and impeccable and all...

There is absolutely nothing about this hotel that says 5 stars. I got a room away from the hallway, up a small stair, down the corridor. It was so dark i had to use the flashlight on my cellphone to open the door. Inside was just as dark and creepy, I imagine a prison cell feels the same way. A...
