This is the most horrible, unorganised and dirty hostel I’ve been to so far First, the room has 9 beds instead of 8 (written on booking) that barely fit in the room, the last bed is right in the corner in front of the entrance door and the air conditioner is above that bed, second, the bed is close to the ceiling, if you are tall your head would knock that ceiling, third, the kitchen is many times dirty, trash bin’s full And cockroaches everyone in the kitchen Forth thing, it’s almost impossible to sleep before 2am because of the music and chatting noise at the hostel Summary: just find a better place

The reception staff, a woman, was extremely rude at check out. I don’t know her name but this occurred at 11:14 am on July 14th 20243. Her attitude was very off with all the customers. She just didn’t look like she even wanted to be there. I asked her to politely be careful with my bag she then proceeded to throw it and having my laptop in it it damaged my laptop. This is appalling customer care I would never come back here just for her.

If you accept this place for what it is - a hostel and not a 5* hotel you can have no complaints. The perfect affordable base to explore Palma and surrounding areas. Clean and comfortable with very good showers and fresh towels daily. Black out shutters and a late check out time of 11AM.

Despite all the bad reviews we braved it and were very pleasantly surprised. For me and two pals on our 40s we found check in to be speedy and the girl on reception polite, room for 3 of us was immaculate and even had two balconies. Bit of a grim neighbourhood but within 15-20 mins walk of the centre. You get what you pay for and in this case we got much better than we paid for. Would go again of looking for a cheap stay.

We booked and paid for the hostel 3 month before our trip. When we tried to check-in they told us they were overbooked and we had to go to another hotel. The lady on the reception had almost no Englisch skills, therefore she was not able to tell us what was going on. But what she told us was that we would have to pay for the second hotel too. We argued about 20 minutes with the lady and the owner and they were really disrespectful. They even told us we didn't pay although we had a printed bill. When we tried to call the police she suddenly had a room for us. It was really dirty. The blankets had yellow stains and there was hair on the towels. They did not apalogize in any way and suddenly they never asked us for any money again eventhough they said we never paid at the beginning. Probably, they try to ripp off tourists with that tactic regularly. And when they don't succeed, they get very disrespectful and rude. I suggest you to stay in another place.

No warm water, no internet connection, shower in bedroom next to bed, lol. Loudly in the night. People on reception every day said "tomorrow somebody will fix this". And for the whole days the same. If you don't want be nervous, choose another place to your vacations.

- eaerlier Check-in agreed but Problems when you get back at certain Time - "luggage room" is an small place around stairways which was open to everyone when we came back - Missing door knob took 3 times to get fixed - Missing TOILET paper was not delivered after hours, wanted you to get your Single roll picked up at the reception *lol* (but true) - no room Service at all on the third Day, getting new towels after carrying the old ones in a third elevator journey back to the reception - Reception pretty Disintersted at any time - any Person. Really not a comfortable Welcome. - Shower is huge like a mouse cage for a dog. You can turn yourself without any Problems if you are a bone - no possibilities to put your usual stuff in bathroom or Shower (not expected in a Hostel but would be nice to have) Advantages: + nearby the great place of Portixol Beach + elevator (which you need to complain at the Reception) is pretty new + Air condition is working We booked this Hostel for a 3 Day vacation in Palma. Booked in March for August for a not to be despised rate of over 110 a night without any Extras (no Breakfast, special wishes, etc). Checked in pretty early in the morning, it was said we should come back in the noon... No Problem, since we didnt expect to get in before regular check in time. After we got back at agreed time, another receptionist told us coming back later since the room wouldnt be set up before usual check in. Short interception later the same Person told us, we can get into our room (pretty random). Got up with the elevator, for sure our room was the one with the missing Doorknob... Well this is just one of dozens of Things which made us upset spending so much money for a Hostel which isnt worth a quarter of what they demand. Have a look at the list above for Details since it would take hours to tell all the stories around. Have a look at another place and enjoy your Trip to the beautyful Beach and Promenade Part of Palma!!!

I was assaulted in the middle of the night (24th july 2019), me and others persons of the room 14 (a dormitory of 10) by one of the dormitory resident. He was French, drunk, aggresive, He wanted to hit us all. He smoked in the room, called a friend for a long time and very loudly. He pretended to be at home and know the reception girl. The day after I made a complain to the police and I booked an other hotel. Despite the complaint, I have not been refunded by the hostel. If you have to go in that hotel, please don't go alone !! This hostel do not respesct the spirit of young hostel. It is too expensive, kitchen is very small, there are too beds by romms (I slept under climatisation and I was stuck betwen an other bed and the access door).

Good for an airport-based stay. We spent the rest of our time in Mallorca in Alcudia, a lovely beach resort also boasting an old town situated among the mountains. New Art Hostel was booked for our final night for its proximity to the airport. We arrived in the evening and made use of the room mainly for sleeping, but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay much longer- it is based in a less desirable area of Palma and the triple room was incredible cramped and basic with minimal floor space. Not sure if all private rooms are this small but the shared rooms did look a lot more spacious. The airport shuttle service also seemed very expensive- €30 for up to 6 people, whereas the bus stops a 10 minute walk away and takes you to the airport for €5. The positives were the air con, WiFi, tv, the outside space, and a seemingly very well purposed kitchen. Not too bad value for money, but look around for other hostels as well.
