My husband and I wanted to take day trips from San Sebastian and the Hotel Anoeta was perfect for us. They are close to the Auto Stradas and have a garage. Upon our return late in the afternoon, we could enjoy a glass of wine at their bar, and then have a simple supper in their restaurant. While the walk... More

After fighting the traffic through the San Sebastian coastline, searching for a hotel we were much relieved when we found this over the hill and inland a bit. Although more modern than we would have liked it was a great find.

Welcoming receptionist Lovely clean rooms 19 minutes walk from old town plus a lovely coffee shop bar adjoining where you can get a superb breakfast for a few euros. Also handy to a train station and bus route. Its less than ten euros by taxi from busier city centre. If returning I would definitely stay here.

I booked my trip to San Sebastian quite late so hotel availability throughout the city was quite limited and prices were sky high. I picked Hotel Anoeta as it was slightly cheaper than the city centre/beach hotels and I was going to a match at the Anoeta stadium one night - which turned out to be hugely convenient as the... Firstly, location - this is approx 25 mins walk from the old town or beach. The bus seems to go all round the houses and take forever to get to the old town, so it is almost not worth taking it. The advantage of that is that the hotel is cheaper and quieter than many closer to the main interesting... More

Spent a weekend in San Sebastia. The hotel Anoeta isa great affordable place to stay. It is clean, and the staff is very accomodating. In a city where hotels are getting more expensive all the time, this is a great option to the many pensions in the old part of town, where cleanliness is optional and partying late is a... More

It was near a swimming pool which was great for the hot Summer days! The staff were really helpful and there was free wifi & parking underneath in a garage for a nominal fee. Breakfast was very cheap and lots of choices in the buffet. The room with disabled facilities on the top floor was amazing & so spacious!

We made the mistake of not booking ahead for this town, and the hotel took full advantage. The rooms are dated, the location is poor and the price was high. We left San Sebastián early and travelled to Bilbao.
