Ok - having read the reviews we were braced for the noise - and had tried to mitigate this by requesting rooms at the back. This was only partially successful as the walls are also very thin and the floor boards exceptionally creaky. However, on the plus side, this is a hotel that is a) not expensive b) very centrally...

The bedrooms were dirty, under the bed there was about 2 inches of dust, rooms were dull drab, could hear every sound, breakfast was terrible, no imagination what so ever. We were bitten by fleas. What can I say, dreadful. Needs a good clean down with a power hose.Have stayed in a few hotels in Bilbao all were nice and...

This hotel is located literally in the centre of the 'Casco Viejo' (Old Town) of Bilbao, making it the perfect base to explore this great little city. There are bars and restaurants on your doorstep, or you can take a leisurely 10 minutes to walk over the river and you are in the hub of the shopping district. The Guggenheim...

This hotel was great value for money and in a fantastic location. An easy walk from the Guggenheim museum and in the centre of the old town with some great cafes and bars nearby. The room was quite basic but large with plenty of room, a wardrobe for storage and a very comfortable firm bed. The bathroom was a decent...

A modern hotel with simple rooms in the pedestrianised old town - so well placed for shops, restaurants, Basque atmosphere and sights. Friendly welcome, clean rooms and functional shower, pretty charmless but not expensive - our room looked into an interior patio so was quiet, except for guests occasionally clattering by on the wooden floor outside. OK for a brief...

A perfect location right in the heart of the Casco Viejo. The hotel is within walking distance of all major tourist spots. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. If you are not keen on evening noise then ask for a room that doesn't overlook the main street. This is not a problem if you...

What is not to like about this place????? Very cheap, extremely clean, very nice staff and in the old town area........you can complain all you want about noisy floors...for 30 euros a night its an absolute steal. Go to an awful out of town chain hotel if you cant handle a little bit of street noise - you are in...

We had a triple-sharing room on the 5th floor, with skylights. Did not hear any noise above us and there was enough space for all 3 of us, bags and all. May be a bit tricky if you are tall (>1.7 m) as your head may hit the slanted ceiling - it may seem that we have the attic room...

This hotel is located in the old town of Bilbao which is the best party of the city to stay in. The hotel is clean, simply decorated, staff are friendly and it's in a super location, However, you can hear every foot step of other guests, the floors are all wooden laminated which proved to be noisy. If you are...

The hotel is located in the old town of Bilbao which is the definitley the best place to stay. After visiting, i'm glad I didnt pick a hotel in the center of town/near the Guggenheim as its mostly for shopping (and not for pintxos/tapas crawls!). The rooms were clean, pretty roomy and a good value. Its about a 15-20 min...
