Conveniently located just across the bridge from old town, the Banda metro station and main shopping area of Bilbao. Rooms cleaned daily; beds comfy with extra blankets; three bars and two restaurants on the same street. I would recommend this small hostel to my friends.

A wonderful location - close to the old town, the new town, the museum, the metro and the tram! Great restaurants in every direction. We sprang for the "junior suite" and it was lovely to have the extra room -- nice to have our suitcases a little farther away from where we slept for a few nights. The hotel is...

My partner and I came to Bilbao with the main intention to visit the Guggenheim Museum. We found all the hotels in Bilbao to be hideously expensive, for unknown reasons, but this hostal (not hotel) was a reasonable price. But I guess you get what you pay for in a town like this! The first thought upon entry was where...

Our first impressions were a little underwhelming. It was hard to find our way in -- ring the bell, be let in but not told it's on the first floor, find that out and go up in the lift, enter a reception area that looks a bit like a student residence, get a rather brusque welcome... But it was all...

I arrived late in the eve from walking part of the Camino to find there were no rooms left in the city. I was tired and had a heavy rucksack. The evening receptionist was very caring phoning other hotels and allowing me to leave my stuff whilst I went out looking for a space to stay. Circumstances altered slightly and...

The hostel is very central both to the Guggenheim and the old town and good value for what it is. We had room 209, a junior suite, with 2 good chairs but the double bed was small. We could not get the portable fan to run for more than 2 hours so it was airless during a warm night. Parking...

If you are looking for a hotel in this price range we can absolutely recommend it. The hotel has a perfect location between the old town and the new town i.e. walking distance to most things. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street so you will not hear a lot of traffic noise. The hotel has a few car...

We had a wonderful visit. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was everything we expected. The hotel is right across the street from the train station and metro so day trips are very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

We found this hotel/hostel to be very convenient - bang on the heart of the city, so it was handy walking distance for the Guggenheim and the old part of the town. We had a lovely quiet and spacious double room and the staff were really helpful . From the outside there's not much to see, but it's worth exploring!...

“downstairs is probably quieter than right under a family with young kids. Not much street noise, and it was lovely to have the balcony.”

“We had what is clearly the family room, with two double beds, and another single. It was on the same level as the reception, and the shower was larger than usual since it was handicap accessible. There was lots of space to spread out and repack our bags for our trip home.”
