We chose the Hotel Sauce for our 4 night visit to Zaragoza in November primarily because of all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor plus the great central location. We were not disappointed. We also booked the airport transfer service which we found to be good value. It is especially nice to have everything arranged when arriving in a new...

We stayed only one night of a 2 week tour of Spain, but loved Zaragoza and Hotel Sauce. The beds were comfortable, nice linens and towels. While there was no view, it was very quiet and centrally located. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous and the breakfast was one of my favorites. At 90 euros it was truly a...

Stayed here for 2 nights when the Queen visited the city in late July. As mentioned before by others, location excellent for sightseeing and its a easy 7 mins stroll to Placa Espana for shopping. Lots of food options around. The hotel buffet breakfast is very good and great value for $. The orange juice was really fantastic as described...

Four of us stayed for 3 nights. We could not fault the Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly and the transfers from/to the hotel were perfect. The whole place was exceptionally clean and the breakfast buffet was large and varied. I would have no hesitation on recommending this place to anyone. The location is also excellent with a...

I chose Hotel Sauce because Isabel personally responded to all of the comments written here on TripAdvisor. I mentioned that in my reservation and received a welcoming E-mail from her prior to even leaving the USA. She is the customer service agent for the hotel. Wow!!! When's the last time you stayed in a hotel with a customer service agent!...

We spent one night here. excellent value having booked through bookings.com. rooms small but clean. The big plus points are the hotel's ideal location just 5 minutes walk from El Pilar. its own garage underneath the building opposite and the fabulous breakfast. Oh and free wifi ain't bad either! The only downside was the noisy building work outside.

Dear guests from England! Thank you so much for your time in posting your comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Hope you liked our city and our gastronomy as well. As you said, we are a very convenient hotel, in the heart of the city, next to cathedral and tapas bars. :-) Kind regards, Isabel

Looking at past reviews this seemed like a great choice as it was number 1!! The staff are friendly(especially the breakfast lady) and plenty of them. Rooms however are quiet old fashioned and not to the standard of a chain. The bathroom felt quite dirty to myself even though it wasn't. The fuse box was open on the wall. The...

We stayed at the Sauce twice during our week in Spain...our intent was to stay there on our way to Hondarribia on the north coast. The staff were very accommodating and suggested several different spots for tapas (all very good). The location cannot be beat - only 5 minutes walk from the main square and 5 minutes or so from...

Very easy to find, close to river and Cathedral. Parking a few metres away with narrow driveways! Nice hotel with good size room, airco and wifi. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Many restaurants in area. Would stay here again!

Perfect hotel, particularly location and service. The front desk assistance was incredible. Do not understand why it is a 2 stars hotel. For the rooms, service and location should be a 4 stars!
