We stayed at Hotel Almud on our 3rd and 4th day of hiking with Hike Pyrenees. Maria Jose is a wonderful hostess, the hotel is a gorgeous reconstruction of an old stable and the village is a delight! The hotel is full of old antiques, the breakfast was nourishing and delicious and the views from our rooms were spectacular.

We arrived into the evening. The town is beautiful, quaint and small. The air was fresh and the views were breathtaking...time well spent driving through the mountains. Maria was so lovely. Our room was quaint the the view was spectacular.

We stayed here for one night before starting our 7 day hike in the Pyrenees mountains. We found the reception to be very welcoming and our room to be comfortable and cosy with everything we needed. The lady who runs the place (sorry we didn't find out her name) is very helpful and very accommodating and the village is a...

Cute hotel, nicely decorated reception and rooms, but tiny bathrooms.. Well situated, owner Maria well in control.. Interesting that breakfast buffet included only processed cheese, no local cheese, and no jamon or local salami..just turkey, strange.. Prices high for this hotel and for the season, and region

Stayed here with "Hike Pyrenees" for seven nights and found Maria ( the owner) a very friendly host who ensured you had everything you needed. Whilst breakfast was served in the hotel evening meals were taken in the nearby unassuming but excellent Casa Jaimico. The decor was traditional and kept very clean and tidy. WiFi good and TV in room...

As part of our bike tour, we had one night at this quirky Hotel, and I have to say it was absolutely perfect, it has a real cottage atmosphere, cosy, really friendly hostess, , we sat downstairs in the lounge and had a natter with some other guests, I had the biggest Martini I have ever seen, mixed and served...

Fascinating collection of vintage curios and furnishings make this a hotel of character! Definitely worth a little extra to get the room up the spiral stairs with the view. Hostess is charming and helpful, particularly about hiking in the stunning local landscape. An easy walk towards the mountain opposite the hotel is fantastic in the late afternoon sun, giving views...

We stopped in this ancient village for a night en route from Barcelona to San Sebastián and were knocked out by how charming the hotel and hostess were. The lower story of the hotel is 300 years old much the same as most of the village, the rest of the hotel had been built in the same style with recycled...

We arrived at Hotel Almud very grumpy after a bad night in a horridly hot hotel. What a pleasure to be greeted by Maria, the owner. She is wonderful and attended to our every request . The hotel rooms are very nicely decorated and quite comfortable. The hotel has many lovely areas where one can sit and chat or read...

We were going from Lourdes, France to Barcelona, Spain and decided to stay overnight at Hotel Almud. We were incredibly satisfied with it's uniqueness and charm. The rooms are small but very cute and clean. The owner very educated lady and speaks several languages. She is a great hostess. She booked our dinner in a nearby restaurant and I can...
