Situated in a delightful area of Seville, in the picturesque and authentic Barrio de Santa Cruz, the hotel is an attractive, converted manor house dating back to the 16th century. The Barrio de Santa Cruz is a charming area of the city with narrow, cobbled streets dotted with orange tree-lines plazas and centrally located within walking distance of many of the major attractions, such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel has a pleasing traditional patio-courtyard, onto which many of the rooms look out and where you can sit out and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is also a popular restaurant that serves traditional Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine.

Just back from 3 nights in this hotel. Situated in the heart of the old city. Walked to all the main sights. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well. Staff were extremely helpful. We enjoyed a glass of wine from the hotel

This hotel is nicely located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood of old Seville, close to many tourist destinations. Service by the staff was fantastic. The breakfast and afternoon tea were very nice. I highly recommend the hotel.

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your lovely comment and for share your experience with us in TripAdvisor. We are surrounded with those narrow cobblestone streets because our location is place in one of the most historical neighborhoods of the city, near of the main monuments and ideal to live the city from inside. We are in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz, a magical and charming place that was former Jewry of the city of Seville and it is a pleasure to stroll through its narrow streets. Our hotel is an old house from the XV century. I am very happy to hear that you have enjoyed your stay with us. I hope that your next stay is around the corner. We hope to see you soon. Best regards

The El Rey Moro Hotel in downtown Seville is a great location to walk to the various attractions of the city. The hotel rooms are large for European standards. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. It's got a quaint indoor court yard and the breakfast is very good. I

Thank you for your kind review and for sharing your experience with us here on Tripadvisor. Our 1st two nights in Sevilla were very enjoyable! We enjoyed many tapas y vinos, walks through the city and Flamenco show! The locals were pleasant and we were able to communicate with Google Translate.

Yes I agree, train travel is very good in Spain and will be a lot quicker, although you might need to book seats beforehand as they usually need to be reserved. You could ask the hotel to do this for your prior to visiting.
