I upgraded to a superior room which I would recommend. It was a lovey spacious room overlooking the front of the hotel with French doors. My brother in law also upgraded but his room overlooked a brick wall without much natural light but he had a small sitting room. If you want a quiet room don't select the front as...

My wife and I stayed at the Rey Alfonso X for three nights and we would happily stay there again when we next visit Seville, which I'm sure we will as we loved the city. The hotel is located right in the middle of the Santa Cruz district and is easily walkable to all of the main landmarks. We were...

This should have been such a good experience. The hotel is well located in the beautiful, old city of Seville and on first impressions it appeared to be modern, clean and well appointed. The check in staff member was helpful if a little officious and immediately offered us an "upgrade" to a suite. This was a condo-like box on the...

This hotel was very modern and well located, but nothing like Hotel Alfonso XIII. Our room barely had any natural light and there were quite a few small cockroaches, even though the room was very clean. The bellboy was friendly and helpful. Guests have access to two small rooftop pools; the one at the hotel next door is bigger and...

We were fortunate to travel with friends who had previously visited Seville. If travelling by car, and your accommodation is in the 'old town', you would be well advised to park in a public car park away from the old town and grab a taxi to your final destination. Even allowing for the most sophisticated sat navs, it will most...

The rooms are good and staff very kind. They offered us a free upgrade. If you have a car they can park it for 20/euros a day. Expensive but dont forget you are in Seville. Breakfast is very good and generous.

We stay here 3rd-6th April and had a lovely few days in beautiful Seville. The hotel was great value for money and great find. Would happily return. Was within easy walking distance for all the tourist attractions.
