We stayed at Hotel Simon for 4 nights in May. The hotel is a 1 star hotel with elegant reception and public areas. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable which isn’t a problem as you don’t come to the beautiful city of Seville to stay in your room. The room does not have a TV (who needs one!),...

As mentioned by other reviewers this hotel is perfectly located -- at walking distance of all major historic sites, parks, etc. --, satisfactorily clean, and manned by friendly and efficient staff. However comfort is very basic, and noise insulation non existent -- at least in our ground floor room which was noisy, humid and stuffy.Judging from photos, upper floor rooms...

An old hotel with a great location. Right in the midst of the city center, this old place had ok rooms. We were given a not so great room on the ground floor with no windows and an overhead window over looking the street which we didn't feel great about. We were given a much better room on the second...

Lovely old hotel. Comfortable rooms. Quiet air conditioning. Only short walk to cathedral etc. Very clean. Lovely breakfast room with tiles. Our room was at the front on the ground floor but shutters helped to keep it reasonably quiet.

The staff are superior. They communicate in Spanish or English to accommodate you. They secured tickets for an authentic flamenco performance on extremely short notice, printed all of our boarding passes for flight home, provided a wake-up call from the front desk at a very early hour, and arranged taxi to airport. Also, breakfast had good variety of fresh fruits,...

As others have noted, the Hotel Simon has a charming lobby and some common areas furnished in antiques, lending an authentic, vintage "Old European" feel. But with "vintage" comes a somewhat tired and rough-around-the-edges room, so you'd better not set the bar too high. It was clean enough and for us, that's what matters the most. Our room served its...

We have just returned from a lovely 3 night stay in Seville. Hotel Simon, as others have mentioned has a tired grandeur but the rooms are large and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable and had lovely crisp sheets. The location could not be better and though there is noise from the backstreets we soon forgot about it....

More a feel of a museum than a hotel 😉. It's a nice place with a laid back atmosphere in the middle of all the must see sights of Sevilla. Our room had a fair amount of noise from the backstreet - guess you can't have it all. We still would recommend the hotel for its location.

Besides being within walking distance of all of the historic city center, this hotel has tons of character. It's an old mansion, and you feel like you're staying with a genteel family that is down on its luck and has to take in lodgers. The public areas are full of antique furniture and ceramic knick-knacks. Our room (214) was light...

The hotel is old but in a pleasant way. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. Hard to reach by car but in the heart of the city. So in the end it is real value for money. If some remodelling is being done it will be a great hotel.
