We visit Seville regularly and usually stay in the old town but as we were visiting in September this time the prices in the old town were extortionate so we decided to try out the San Gil. We had reservations about it based on other Tripadvisor reviews but these were quickly dispelled upon arrival. The check in staff were lovely,...

Nice welcome - car was parked by the staff (luck we were driving a Mini). When waiting to get our room we were offered a welcome drink and short time after we got our keys even our early check in. All in all a good hotel - spacy rooms.

It's a really nice place with friendly people. The rooms are big enough and have sufficient luxury. Breakfast is also satisfying. But I do not recommend to dine here in the restaurant. That part is really dissapointing. Overall it's still a great stay. They also have a swimmingpool. Oh, their wifi could be better, but it just could be I...

A welcome drink. They park your car for you. The first room was a little noisy because of the swimming pool motor so i have ask to change. No problem. They gave me a nice room in a more modern part of the hotel that is calmer. You can easily reach by foot the historic city center. A large choice...

Hotel San Gil is excellent - large rooms (we even had a sitting room) clean and courteous staff. We really enjoyed the free Flamenco show one night. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is a decent walk from most of the main sites ie 1 to 1.5k, so bring your walking shoes. It was very convenient if...

Bedroom was a large double in the modern end of the hotel with air conditioning and had plenty storage facilities for clothes. The bathroom had a bath with overhead shower (pressure sufficient) bidet and toilet with the usual hairdryer and mirror. There was a fridge and safe available but no tea/coffee making facilities. The room was light, airy and clean...

Our experience was affected by the fact that my partner used the roof top pool on the second day and slipped and fell when walking back to the sunbed. Part of this area has green non slip matting but the area near the lift and outside room 402 has marble tiles that are sloped presumably to allow for drainage. There...

A great location in beautiful Seville. Rooms very clean and spacious (be very careful though, there are rooms in the new building that have very little natural light and overlook an internal stairwell!!!). Some of the reception staff could certainly benefit from further customer service training!! Great to have a pool but the sun beds must be the most uncomfortable...

Lacked atmosphere. Staff on reception need to undergo training in customer care. THe odd smile and a good morning would not go a miss. NO tea and coffee making facilities in the room ( 4 stars) We had arrived from a guest house in Malaga old town where we paid 50 euros a night and had as many free beverages...
