As with most other reviewers, I confirm this hotel to be absolutely wonderful. Converted from 18 houses connected by a warren of underground passages, this hotel delivers more than you might imagine at first glance. In many ways quaintly preserving its origins with gardens and patios everywhere, it also surprises with modernity such as a spa and swimming pool. Ask...

We recently stayed for 3 nights. This boutique hotel is a collection of several buildings in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. The twisting, turning walkway that eventually leads to your room passes archways, fountains, courtyards filled with flowering plants, and quiet nooks with places to relax. Off the lobby is an ornate seating area with a baby grand,...

Like others have written, this is a unique property in that it is a hotel comprised of several interconnected buildings and passages...really like its own little village. My teenage daughter and myself were instantly smitten with the whole experience: narrow walkways which opened upon fountains and leafy, flowered courtyards. We arrived via train to Sevilla and took a taxi to...

Perfect location, charming hotel. But as many other travelers have mentioned, parking, unpacking is difficult - and expensive. Help desk was not very helpful or friendly. We were in the farthest building and given no map, just a hurried rush through the maze of alleyways, elevators and staircases. Returning in the evening was, at first, a funny puzzle but an...

This hotel is fantastic if you are staying in the main building and avoid room number 51 which is next to the kitchen extractor fans and is so noisy that it should not be used. Do not mistake it for a noisy air conditioning unit. It is far worse. We complained 3 times, the last at 12.30 in the morning...

First things first, the hotel is comprised of a series of beautiful & charming old buildings that yield many romantic nooks. You'd be hard pushed to replicate it elsewhere. It's also very well located. It is a five minute walk to the Cathedral and the Real de Alcazar. There are no shortage of good eateries along the street that it...

This was a great hotel in a great location in Santa Cruz. Just minutes from the Alcazar and the Cathedral and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. It was extremely difficult to find, but if you do manage, they will take your car to parking for 19 Euros per day. They just have you stop on the single lane street...

Do not doubt booking this hotel, it is faultless. The location is superb, the staff extremely helpful, the hotel spotlessly clean. Everything is on your doorstep. Tapas bars right outside the main entrance. All the major sights within walking distance. Swimming pool at the hotel, which is needed in such heat in the summer. There is a hotel bar with...

My wife and I stayed for 1 night at this hotel which must be one of the most beautiful and interesting hotels we have visited. Everything from the position, the friendliness of the staff and the amazing breakfast buffet was excellent. Our only complaint is that the bedroom was dark and there was insufficient light to read by at night....

I stayed at this hotel in July. The entrance and public areas are really impressive, however, I cannot really say the same about the accomodation itself. When we arrived we were given a room at the other side of the building (actually it was a different building), we walk through corridors for more than ten minutes until we got to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of Seville's old jewish quarter, just 6 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral, a modern service and classic decoration converge in the hotel Las Casas de la Juderia. History fills the air in this magnificent ensemble of 27 fifteenth century traditional houses restored to harmoniously reflect the authentic feel of the serpentine neighborhood that surrounds it. The vibrant colors of the 40 patios (typical Andalusian courtyards) and the friendly service mirror the true character of Andalusia. Fountains, statues and roman amphoras decorate the winding passageways that connect the 134 rooms. Las Casas de la Juderia offers an array of services for your enjoyment: a tapas bar and a restaurant both indoors and outdoors, a rooftop swimming pool to enjoy a selection of tapas and cocktails (May-Sept.), Live music in the piano-bar from Thursdays to Sundays, a spa decorated with roman mosaics, several meeting rooms and spaces to organize events, reunions or seminars, and a large breakfast area located in hotel's "Mirror's Hall." Located in the heart of the city center, Las Casas de la Juderia offers a superbly convenient access to some of the most symbolic landmarks of southern Spain such as the Giralda, Reales Alcazares, Casa de Pilatos and Jardines de Murillo. Parking is ensured by our valets. ... more   less
