Looking at the other reviews we seem to be the odd one out to not like it here. The old building is great but unfortunately the apartments don't even try to bring out the historical charm. The ground floor apartment was not only dark but also damp. The furniture and kitchen ware was fairly old IKEA cheap stuff. The bathroom...

We loved our stay in this apartment in Seville - great place to stay to feel like you're living life as a local. The terrace was a delight on sunny afternoons and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of meals in. Mayte was very kind & helpful too.

We stayed at La Casa del Conde de Gelves a few years ago with our three children (at the time 6,4,4) for my wife's research trip. What a wonderful time. Mayte and her husband were incredible and made us feel at home from the moment we got there. A late evening arrival and with 3 tired children, we were so...

Mayte was a very gracious host. Since there was street construction going on in front of the apartment, she kindly offered us the rear apartment to shield us from the noise. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. We had blistering 100-104 degree weather in Sevilla everyday and the AC never faltered. It was a great refuge from...

We recently stayed at La Casa del Conde de Gelves on a family vacation to Spain. It was right in the middle of our trip and was a perfect break from the other, more traditional hotels. The apartment was attractive, spacious and clean and having the kitchen and washing machine was very convenient. The area is quiet but the apartments...

Lovely clean, modern apartment in the old town. Plenty of space with two bedrooms (one double, one twin) living room, kitchen and terrace. Not in the heart of the city so nice and peaceful on a night but only a 15 minute walk from the cathedral. Owner was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely return!

We booked a 3 night stay in one of the duplex apartments and paid E360 for a two bedroom apartment for 4 people. It was a very easy booking process, using booking.com. We had great communication prior to arriving and on arrival we were met Mayte, who provided us with all the information we would need and let us know...

Clean, comfortable and cozy apartment within 10 minutes walking distance of the heart of Seville. Equipped with air-conditioning, washing machine and dishwasher. There also is a small roof terrace. Very spacious bathroom. Lots of shops and tapas bars nearby. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We have had a wonderful time! Tip for those coming by car: don't drive...

The house where the apartments are situated is really in the center of Seville. It is just a bit dificult to find the first time as the street is a one-way and quite small. From there you can walk everywhere in the city center. In 15-20 minutes you are at the cathedral and Alcazar, of course if you don't stop...

Spent a wonderful four nights in these superbly located apartments. We had a duplex apartment which was large enough for a family of four. The location is great, being just a short walk from the town centre and some great restaurants. Mayte was there to greet us and the fridge was even stocked with some cold drinks on arrival. Would...

“Duplex C (1 bedroom) has a large terrace and a nice large bathroom but little natural light on the lower level. We reccomend it for shorter stays. Duplex A (2 bedroom) has two large windows in the living room as well as two other windows upstairs in addition to the terrace. It's better for longer stays becuase of the natural light. Wi-fi is stronger in Duplex C than in Duplex A and bathroom in Duplex A is a little small. We reccomend both, but it depends on your own needs.”
