great location in the Albaicin district, with a very comfortable room, good Wifi, and very nice breakfast. Arab restaurants, tea shops and gift places are all around, with many Spanish restaurants and bars too. A walk of about 25 minutes takes you up to the Alhambra entrance (always book in advance). Another walk up the hill to St.Nicholas church provides spectacular views across to the Palace.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is located right in the middle of the beautiful Albaicin neighborhood, walking distance to all the historical attractions including the Alhambra. The breakfast was very good, the patio charming, the rooms and everything in them very clean. There are lots of different places to eat all around the hotel. The interior is very beautiful, with its own special character. The room and the bathroom are quite spacious. The staff were incredibly helpful. One of our two mornings we needed to have breakfast earlier than the normal 8 o'clock time and were accommodated with no difficulties whatsoever.

The hotel is nice and the room has some really nice features that make it feel true to the areas. The bed is comfy enough and the room pretty spacious with a fridge too and large wardrobe and bathroom. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Location is close to many attractions and places to eat. The room could feel a little dark at times with the wood panelling if you had the window shutters closed and at night, maybe some more lighting. The pillows could be better too. We did book a room with a balcony but the only "balcony" was a shared terrace area with another room and into a courtyard, so not really a balcony you can sit out on.

Amazing value for cost! The included breakfast was convenient and yummy and the internal patio was cool and quiet. Location is stellar, with easy access to the cathedral area, Albaicin, and a walk to the Alhambra. Room was quiet and fine for two nights and the AC was extra strong (important in summer!). Recommend!!

Stayed for five nights. Was in suite on 4th floor which had 2 balconies lovely to sit on of an evening. Rooms cleaned every day and things replenished. Nice continental breakfast which could eat in courtyard. Near little street with a few tapas bars and also not far to the main squares and cathedral.

The hotel is very well located in the historic area of the town close to the cathedral and the streets nearby are full of traditional Tapas bars. We are relatively fit and enjoyed a lovely shaded uphill stroll to the Alhambra which took around 25 minutes although there is a bus service and taxis are available if required. The historic nature of the hotel fits perfectly with the area and it is clean and well maintained. We stayed in the suite at the top floor of the hotel (room 400) which we thought was excellent value for money. As well as a large bedroom and bathroom there was a smaller sitting room. However, the most striking feature of the suite was not one but two private outdoor terraces. These areas are certainly too large to simply be called balconies. One faces across rooftops to the cathedral and is accessed through a French door in the bathroom. The other is off the sitting room and forms an L shape on the roof of the hotel with magnificent views over the old town and up towards the Alhambra itself. Sitting up there in the warm evening with a bottle of wine and some snacks while the sun set was a highlight, not only of this trip, but of all our worldwide travels! The buffet breakfast consisted of a wide range of cold items including fruit and a selection of very tasty pastries. Even during this time when Covid is still an issue we felt comfortable eating at the well-spaced tables in the open-air courtyard. All the staff we encountered spoke good English and were very welcoming.

Parked car at Granada_Jaen airport and a 3 euro shuttle took us to 3 minutes walk away in the city centre (cathedral stop). Super location. 1.40 euros bus in the next street took us up to the Alhambra and it was an easy walk down to beside our hotel. Breakfast is generous and included in the price. Would definitely recommend for location, ambience and service. Lovely staff too.

Since we arrived I found it to be an interesting hotel. Most hotels are renovated and tend sometimes to look the same. It looks kind of old but it has a charm. The staff was super friendly, especially the lady who opens the door at night. Room: the room is very spacious. You can move around easily and when going with one or two more persons is really helpful. The decoration goes along with the hotel, nothing fancy but nice. Breakfast: Unfortunately we had almost no time to have breakfast since we booked an early excursion but it seemed to be a standard European breakfast, bread, ham, cheese, cereal, etc. Very nicely organized. They have a beautiful terrace where you can have breakfast, unfortunately, when we went it was too cold so it was closed. Security: In my personal case, I really like the idea that they close the main door at night. If you ring, in just a second they open you the door so don´t worry about that. Since Elvira is a street with tons of tourists, I appreciate they take that extra security measure. Location: Just perfect. There are tons of restaurants around and is near everything. Loved the location. I would definitely like to go back but unfortunately, the beds are super uncomfortable. I never complain about this but they are cheap beds and for me, it was impossible to rest. It would be nice if they could change them.

Overall this inn was in a great part of town. However it is a nightmare to get here along narrow winding streets past bollards that rise up from the pavement and then park your car at a large parking lot ($) nearby. You have very limited, very short term stopping (one space) to check in and then must find this lot, of which directions are poorly described by the owner' daughter at reception, who doesn't have much English. The room was fairly nice and spacious overlooked a cute interior courtyard, but there was a real stench in the courtyard that precluded sitting there. The breakfast was only just okay. The receptionist, who was not related, spoke good English and was a wonderful source of information.
