In order to visit the famous attraction in Spain, Alhambra, we chose this hotel to stay. It located at the center of Granada city and very near to Alhambra. You can park your car at their parking lot, then you can walk to the place and do your sight-seeing.

Although an older building, the rooms at the Hotel Atenas have been refurbished to an acceptable quality. The hotel is not 4 star but provides good accommodation in the middle of the tourist area. It's 10 minutes walk to the Alhambra Palace (15 minutes to the ticket office) but it's uphill all the way!! It's closer to the Albaicin, the...

Good afternoon, We are so happy about knowing that your stay at our hotel was great. Regarding the lift, we have tried to change it but it would be the same size although it would be newer, but we have to wait for the permission of the other hotel to change it. We hope you had a wonderful experience. Regards

This hotel trades on its location. I arrived in Granada by rail without a booking and followed the signs to this hotel because it was well sign-posted. In fact, they manage to direct you to their place via the back streets so that you don't get to see other options along the way. Crafty, isn't it? I had a standard...

Good afternoon, Thank you for choosing our hostel to stay. Actually, all the signs concerning our hostel are put in places where there are no security cameras because our street is a restricted area where only residents can pass. Thinking about our position in the city, we are in one of the most important streets so there are taxis and...

The hostel is located on the main road of Granada city called Gran Via de Colon. It is just a 10 minutes walking distance to Alhambra and it is very near to the highlands of Albaicin. The room has very plain white bedsheets and comforter, but it is comfortable and you can definitely turn on the aircond/heater whenever necessary. The...

We were given a terrible corner room with a window that besides facing a brick wall, could not be opened. It was cold, uncomfortable and somehow the whole hotel's plumbing seemed to pass by our walls. The bed was beyond terrible and there was only one (long) pillow for a double bed. There were foreign hairs on the floor when...

whilst many of the reviews on Tripadvisor introduced me to the Hostal Atenas, many of the reviews nonetheless gave me a sense of expectation that my experience could be good. Alas! it was not to be the case. The room was very basic but very clean however the shower area which was clean had mould growing in the grout between...

Four of us (2 couples) spent 2 nights here. We paid 42 euros a night for a double room, which is very reasonable. As you would expect there are no frills, but the rooms were comfortable and clean. The two double rooms were distinctly different. Our friends had a slightly bigger room with just one double bed, and a tiny...

Basic rooms but very comfortable for the price, reception staff were very pleasant and professional check in and out and any information we needed was relayed to us perfectly. Lifts and stairs take you to your rooms and hotel was spotless. Centred on a main St in middle of town close to the cathedral and old market and shops the...

Great location, very near to the cathedral, city centre and to the bus stop that takes you to Alhambra. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Good at recomending how to get to places and how long it would take. Only negative thing was that the beds are queen size, so be prepared to sleep very close...
