The 3-star hotel was once luxurious but outdated, a spacious and clean room in an excellent location opposite the Alhambra. We parked in the Alhambra P1 (arrangement with the hotel EUR 16 per day) right in front of the hotel. A few stairs and straight up the hotel. Good minibus lines for city number 32 and 30. Breakfast is expensive. There is a cafeteria right next to the hotel.
This was our second stay at the Guadalupe, separated by a few years. It has maintained its status as being very close to the Alhambra with a helpful staff and good facilities. We enjoyed our stay with our large family, scattered over six rooms. We ate dinner upstairs, and it met our standards for serving our varied tastes. The parking situation across the street in the Alhambra parking lot was really convenient. Overall, Javier and his staff met our needs very well.
We loved the hotel! Great location across from the Alhambra entrance, convenient parking, a comfortable room and a nice restaurant. Loved that our room had a balcony overlooking the Alhambra. Wish we had time to stay longer! Thank you!
A very comfortable hotel (large room, spacious bathroom). Moderate prices. It is worth hiring if our main goal is Alhambra (a hotel with a discount for guests to the Alhambra parking lot). It is worth asking in advance how to get to the hotel and not to enter the Alhambra parking (you can park for a moment near the hotel to take out your luggage). After parking, especially if you do not have much time and strength, it is best to move around the city by public transport, because the Alhambra and the hotel are located on the Hill and getting on foot can be tiring. (small buses run every 10, 15 minutes, and the stop is located very close to the hotel)
Situated directly opposite the Alhambra and local bus stop into town. Staff really friendly and the food we had was good. The rooms were nice and clean. BUT those beds are so hard we might just as well have slept on the floor, window faced a wall. We asked for a change of room which they did very amicably (from 2nd to 4th floor) the beds were a little more comfortable. The plumbing was very noisy as you could hear when anyone flushed the toilet or had a shower. There was a jacuzzi bath in this room but could not be used as the system was not working; there were no plugs for the sink, bath or bidet. If the beds and plumbing were sorted this would be a really nice hotel.
