Stayed a couple.of nights in a double room with terrace, we had a great view of the Alhambra. We were disappointed to hear the restaurant would be shut during our visit, as there's not a lot around, however we managed to eat one night at the restaurant next door. Air conditioning was pretty noisy in the room, but all in all, it was a nice room. Breakfast was plentiful, but go early if you want eggs, they don't seem to replace the dried up scrambled eggs. All in all, a good visit.
Chose this hotel because it offers parking and is on the doorstep of Alhambra. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was included and was plentiful to give you a good start. Stayed here for a couple of nights. Beds were comfortable and we felt well rested ready for the next day of sightseeing. Staff is polite and knowledgeable. Would stay here again when in Granada. Hasta luego!
Great hotel and special shout out to the front of house Manuel 👍. Manuel was so friendly and so professional, he provided excellent recommendations for food, and even ordered taxis for us and even communicated with the driver. Hotel is clean and a fantastic location for a visit to the alahambra. Comfey beds, fantastic showers, and the staff all help to make this a brilliant place to stay Great city to visit, very hilly so be prepared for calf burning hills, not a place for flip flops
We travelled with my sister and we took this hotel because of proximity to Alhambra and it was great choice. I really loved the nice character of the rooms and totally loved our terase with almost 360 views - so nice watch sunrise and sunset . Staff was extremely nice and sweet. I like breakfast too. And really Alhambra was just 3 minutes away. So great location. We went by feet to city center it tooks us downhill just 19 minutes and back we took bus - so easy to get back for just aprox up to 2 euros.
The location of the hotel is great for the Alhambra as it’s on the doorstep but the walls are paper thin and every time someone flushes the loo or has a shower you will be woken up. I wished I’d paid more and stayed somewhere else. I feel exhausted.
We stayed here for 4 nights and here are the pros and cons - Pros Very close to the Alhambra. Super helpful desk staff, among other things they help us arrange a visit to an olive farm when all the others were closed for the season. Clean room Decent breakfast buffet Parking is close Good value for the money Cons Room was a little worn and there were minor maintenance issues. Other than the Alhambra there is not much close by. It is easy downhill walk to town but you might want to take the bus back uphill. It’s cheap 1.40 euro. We would stay here again.
If you want to stay right next to the Alhambra and not pay the high prices at the Parador or the Washington Irving Hotel this is your best option by far. Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, a public bus near the front door takes you down into the city for restaurants and night life (and more importantly, back up the steep-ish hill). Don't count on a view: it only faces the Alhambra parking lot and we got a close-up of a water storage tank. Spotlessly clean and very good value. Better than usual breakfast buffet.
This hotel is under new management, and they saved us from a major disappointment. We had booked our tickets to the Alhambra through the hotel when the old management was still there, and they messed up the date---so when we arrived we had no tickets and none were available. After checking with other sources no tickets could be found. But Cristina, after working the day shift, got on her computer at home at midnight when a few tickets are sometimes released for the next day, and got us the tickets we needed. The hotel is in a great location where you can walk into the Alhambra, and close to the shuttle bus to go into Granada itself. It was easy to get to with our rental car, with parking nearby (you can get a discount for the parking lot through the hotel). The room was excellent (and very clean, which is the first thing we look at). We ate at the restaurant and in the bar area a couple of times, and were not disappointed with the food. And we were appreciative of the staff, who not only corrected a mistake the old management had done, but were helpful and attentive to all our other needs. We definitely would stay here again if we were visiting Granada. …
This hotel served us very well: location was excellent, discounted parking close by, tasty breakfast buffet each morning, and the Alhambra just across the street. It helped us avoid the crowds along the river, and was very quiet at night (with windows open, too). Not expensive and really quite worth the money and the effort.
This hotel was right next to the Alhambra and on the bus route into Granada itself. The staff all speak English and are so helpful. Rooms were simple, comfortable and stylish. They also have a good restaurant if you are too tired to go out.
