Hotel was nice but you have to be care open the door on su terrace as I burnt my hand opening the door, there were no signs telling you that you could get burnt. Our 8 year old burnt herself too and it was sore for several days and needed 1st aid treatment after
Stayed here for two nights as part of an organised tour. The Hotel is modern, with lots of facilities such as indoor & outdoor pools, tennis courts & spa. The rooms are very nice, however, the air-conditioning is presetting by the hotel to 25 degees, and whilst the controls are in the room, you cannot change it. It is the first time I a long time I have found a room safe with a key? Rather than a combination lock, which I found strange I such a modern hotel. I don't know where you get the key, as there was no information about it! Breakfast was nice plenty to choose from. All in all, I'd stay here again
The sofa bed was really uncomfortable and the metal parts were outside of it so we kept catching our legs on it. It wasn't even made when we got there, we had to request it again, despite it being on the booking. We did ask for a different room with beds for the children but they were all full up. The parking is easy enough and on site. Even though it's expensive it's probably the cheapest and most convenient way to park in Granada. The location in good but if you're walking with kids count with 20/25 minutes walk to Puerta Real. We didn't really use the pool, or play areas but they seemed clean enough, they were quite busy. The breakfast was good, not much fresh fruit (some tinned fruit) and, as it was very busy, things kept running out and taking a long time to be filled up again. The most annoying part was the cleaning crew knocking on our door early in the morning and just making so much noise in the corridor. And it the end the cleaning was ok but just smelled like bleach when we came back. Considering the price of it, I don't think we'll stay there again on our next trip to Granada.…
My family LOVES Granada and any time we go to Spain, we stay at the Hotel Luna because it is normally a fantastic hotel for families. It has two pools and very comfortable beds. This time it did not live up to our expectations. When we checked in the room, the bathtub was filled with dead flies and there were flies all over the walls and ceiling. We called down to reception and their solution was to send someone up with insecticide to kill them. The cleaning crew came, sprayed a bunch of chemicals and said they would be back in a half hour to clean it again. We were told to hang out in the room until they came back. An hour later No one came. We called down to reception and they finally sent up the cleaning crew about an hour and a half later. We missed dinner with our family because we could not shower and all of us had terrible headaches from the chemicals. When we woke up in the morning, the flies were back. These were small flies that were entering through the pipes. We stayed for two nights and had to kill about 20 flies each time we needed to use the bathroom. We complained 5 times at reception and were never offered a new room or even a complimentary breakfast or parking for the inconvenience. Their reaction was simply “I’m sorry.” I do not believe we will be staying at Hotel Luna during future visits. They need an exterminator ASAP and they need to learn how to treat their customers.…
Really nice place to stay with incredible facilities including several swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym and a spa. It was all exceptionally clean and perfect. The staff were very friendly and also spoke English very well to us. It is sometimes a bit complicated to find where you are going as some signs do not include everything but other than that is is brilliant! Rooms are great - lots of room, very clean. A tip that I would definitely consider when visiting again is try to get a room on the 1st floor as all facilities are here. This place was fabulous and will definitely be coming here again!
My son and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location was in walking distance to practically all to see, the staff was great, and room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delightful! 2 pools and a spa was a plus+. I would recommend anyone try this place !
We had a wonderful family stay and enjoyed every moment. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast delicious, the staff friendly & helpful. A great place for kids with 2 pools and a playroom. We hope to return someday!
Great hotel: + 15 min walk to bazaar and 45 mins to Alhambra + indoor and outdoor pools + gym (small but adequate) + large buffet breakfast + nice buffet diner (£18) + Undergound parking + Shops nearby (Dia for supplies about 10 min walk away) - Parking was £15 a night - No views / balconys on some rooms
Stayed here with my partner as part of a tour group. Modern hotel a 25 minute walk from the centre of Granada (a long way in the heat!). Comfortable rooms with quiet air con. Hotel appears to cater for the large groups so not ideal for couples. Very good selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast. Large voids from ground floor to roof tend to take noise from ground floor up to higher rooms.
Hotel was OK but a bit run down, few items looked dated. Importantly, the AC in both rooms we booked was "stuck" at 25 degrees, was difficult to sleep. Matter raised with staff on a number of occasions with repeated promises of it is fixed now. The team became increasingly rude and unprofessional as the issue was not resolved. Had a terrible two nights as this was the only option as the team was more and more difficult, even though the room temperature was clearly showing 25 9n the monitor. Hotel spoiled what was supposed to be a great first family visit to Granada.
