The hotel is very central and close to all of the tourist sites. The Alhambra is a 10-minute walk up a hill, and the Albaycin is a 20-minute walk along a river. We had no complaints regarding the location.

In addition, the hotel is located next to a row of bars and restaurants. The area is very lively at night. The number of reasonably priced tapas bars, restaurants, and pastry shops made our stay very comfortable as well.

The main issue we had with the hotel was the room. We stayed as a family of four in Room 2, which was a family room. The downstairs area had two separate beds and the loft upstairs had one large bed. While the room was spacious, it was impossible to match the temperature of the two areas.

At night, my wife and I would be sweating upstairs and having trouble sleeping from the heat. In the meantime, my children would be covered in blankets downstairs because of the cold. The multiple heaters in the room, including one radiator and two wall heaters, did absolutely nothing to match the temperatures of the two areas. Hotel management should stay in the room themselves for one night to figure out how a normal family is supposed to sleep there with sweltering hot temperatures upstairs in the loft and freezing temperatures downstairs in the first floor.

Dear guests, Thank you very much for staying at our hotel and I am very sorry that you were not able to rest well due to the heat/cold. The truth is that this is the first time that we have been told about this strange situation regarding the room temperature. We will investigate it and try to find a solution. Kind regards,

We chose this hotel because of the unbeatable location... 2 minutes from the Granada Cathedral and very close to the Alhambra. (We walked).
Close to bus and taxi stops.
Surrounded by several restaurants.
Clean hotel and good rooms
With the typical Granada architecture.
The only negative point of the room is the constant downspout smell from the bathroom.
The rest correct.
The breakfast was a bit fair...but since it was included in the room price we took it.
Machine coffee and milk...as well as juice.
Some bread and pastries and fruit.
Nothing special.
The only negative point was that the building next to the hotel was under construction and from 6.30 am you could hear voices, bangs, bangs and similar noises throughout the day.
Impossible to open windows
That ruined the stay. But of course it's not the establishment's fault.
The staff very friendly and attentive.
We would definitely repeat but when construction work next door is finished.

Nice hotel tucked away in the small roads right in the centre of Granada and a short walking distance to the cathedral, city Centre & Alhambra.

Lots of bars & restaurants close by so the fact it hasn’t got a bar isn’t really an issue.

Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy

The safe isn’t a combination lock so you have to collect a key from reception who were always very helpful

Would definitely recommend

This is a lovely hotel, very well located for a number of excellent bars/restaurants and cafes as well as only being a short walk from many attractions.
The staff were very helpful.
Top tip - use the valet parking as driving around is difficult and it costs no more than parking yourself.
Note the hotel doesn’t have a bar

You will be close to everything in fashionable old Granada. The stop for the bus to the Alhambra was less than two blocks away. Restaurants, taverns, ice cream shops and stores seem to be in every direction. The hotel is modern, up-to-date and quite comfortable, especially after so much walking in that city. The staff is helpful beyond belief, and we were especially pleased that they washed a load of our dirty laundry for us (even folded and buttoned my shirts!!) for about 16 Euros. That was the bargain of our entire trip! Be sure to take them up on that.

We stayed here as part of a Rick Steves tour, then I tested positive for COVID. The hotel was so gracious, allowed us to stay for 3 more nights, checked up on us and gave us directions to pharmacies etc.

The location is within steps of every where you want to go, rooms are large, comfy beds, great bathrooms.

Breakfast is good, public rooms are large and comfortable

The staff is so so kind. We had a bottle of wine that we wanted to share with friends after dinner, the gentleman at the front desk found us glasses and a cork screw. My Spanish isn’t great, everyone spoke English but they were all happy to put up with my fractured Spanish.

Highly recommend

Hotel was centrally located in a small street that went directly to many shops and restaurants. The Royal Chapel was about 2 blocks away and infinity of shops and restaurants of all kinds around it. Taxi station was a block from the hotel and we jumped on it constantly to go anywhere. I parked my car about a mile away and left it there for it was secured and perfect location and took a taxi to the hotel for less than 4 euros. The lobby was beautiful, very lighted, the staff members were Wonderful! Roberto a delight to talk to! The other ladies at the desk were all great. The way to the room was either up the stairs or the elevator. All corridors had plenty of light. Our room was small but comfortable. Early in the mornings we heard a lot of noise, but it wasn’t from the hotel, but rather the reconstruction of the street. I imagine it is all done now! Breakfast was small but had fresh bread, fresh cold cuts, fruits, pastries and yogurts. Cappuccino amazing! At lunch we would cross the street and we could eat at the Arab restaurant across the main road, lovely stay! Would definitely stay there again! Hi Roberto!

The location of the hotel is excellent and it was clean enough. Basically it met expectations in terms of what I had in mind but what really took me aback was the issue with drinking water. As it was a quad room and our family of 4 was staying for 2 nights, the 4 small bottles of water were considered complimentary only for the first night. When we asked for 4 more bottles the second night (my 8 year old went to the reception), I really thought he or the lady at the reception was joking that the bottles will be charged at Eur1.50 each especially when supermarkets / convenience stores were selling 1 litre bottles at Eur0.50 to 0.70. This was a real rip off when most hotels provide complimentary water for the few days of stay.

Dear customer, first of all thank you for your stay at the hotel. As for the 4 free water bottles on the first day, they were courtesy of the hotel, from then all extras must be paid by the clients. Your son was correctly informed that the second 4 water bottles would be charged to your bill. In Granada the tap water is completely drinkable. Thanks and best regards

We stayed here for a few nights during a family vacation stop in Grenada. We had a two-level room on the first floor. The highlights of the hotel were having a spacious room with a nice lobby and sitting area, and a decent breakfast buffet. The biggest highlight was the friendliness of the staff, especially the woman from America.

The only downside to the hotel is that the room was awkward. Access to the upstairs is through a narrow spiral staircase that made it difficult to carry a suitcase upstairs. And the ceiling to enter the staircase to come down is very low, several of us bumped our heads until we got used to having to duck (and we're not tall). Adding some foam to the edge of the ceiling would be a nice gesture. :-). The room also lacked any sort of view, with windows opening out to a narrow walled column.

The location was perfect for our needs, convenient to lots of shopping/dining/attractions with a nearby taxi stand less than a block away in the main city plaza. I would definitely stay here again.

There is a lot to like about this hotel – the good situation in a quiet side street near the city centre close to restaurants, the helpful staff (with some good dinner recommendations), our spacious and well-equipped room (kettle and a small fridge were very welcome), a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. However, given the standards in the rest of the hotel, breakfast was very disappointing. In so many Spanish hotels breakfast is a joy – slices of fresh melon, watermelon, orange, tomato, interesting local breads, varied little cakes , all of which we had in a 2* hotel in Malaga earlier in the week but none of which were on offer here. The choice of cereals was very limited – no muesli, oats or granola – and the pastries were just that. In short a very basic continental breakfast. It feels like a real missed opportunity as the breakfast room and lobby are attractive areas with some character. A breakfast to match could make ‘Very Good’ reviews become ‘Excellent ‘ ones.

Good morning, From Granada airport to the center of Granada, where the hotel is located, there are buses every time a flight arrives. From Malaga airport to Granada, you have to consult the website alsa Thank you and Kind regards

You can buy bus tickets from Malaga Airport to Granada Bus Station on the Alsa website. There is a local bus (# 33) from the bus station to about a block from the hotel. Get off at Gran Via 5 Catedral. You can also easily get a cab at the bus station.

See Lanchester's answer - the others are not helpful. Leave the airport arrivals following signs to buses - it's just a few metres outside the doors. Buy a ticket at the booth. Bus No. 33, every 30 minutes. Just 3 Euros - totally forget about taxis or minibuses, this is a normal national bus route. Get off at cathedral - just 2 minutes from hotel - see map on google. Take headphones - the bus has multiple music stations to listen to. Enjoy the trip.
