I chose this small independent hotel based on travel writer Rick Steves' recommendation. Great location on a small alley in the cathedral district and close to restaurants, shopping, and the minibus to the Alhambra. Friendly and helpful first class service by the front desk staff. Very good and convenient cold breakfast buffet (extra charge). Room was modern, clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a kettle, tea, and refrigerator. Spacious bathroom and great shower. Fantastic deal at 70 Euros per night for a double.

There is a lot to like about this hotel – the good situation in a quiet side street near the city centre close to restaurants, the helpful staff (with some good dinner recommendations), our spacious and well-equipped room (kettle and a small fridge were very welcome), a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. However, given the standards in the rest of the hotel, breakfast was very disappointing. In so many Spanish hotels breakfast is a joy – slices of fresh melon, watermelon, orange, tomato, interesting local breads, varied little cakes , all of which we had in a 2* hotel in Malaga earlier in the week but none of which were on offer here. The choice of cereals was very limited – no muesli, oats or granola – and the pastries were just that. In short a very basic continental breakfast. It feels like a real missed opportunity as the breakfast room and lobby are attractive areas with some character. A breakfast to match could make ‘Very Good’ reviews become ‘Excellent ‘ ones.

Excellent location in Granada just steps from Plaza Nueva where all the action is!! Room and bed were very comfortable and quiet - no view however but didn’t spend much time in there so not an issue. Would recommend for sure as was treated well as a solo visitor. Can’t say the same everywhere!!

We drove and it was a little tough getting to the hotel on the small streets but they had a space for us to park while we unloaded our bags. The hotel is very nice with a lovely lobby. Online there were pictures of an outdoor area but that only belonged to one room so was a little disappointed. The front deck employees, especially Kathy, was very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was standard European breakfast. I would stay here again!

You will be close to everything in fashionable old Granada. The stop for the bus to the Alhambra was less than two blocks away. Restaurants, taverns, ice cream shops and stores seem to be in every direction. The hotel is modern, up-to-date and quite comfortable, especially after so much walking in that city. The staff is helpful beyond belief, and we were especially pleased that they washed a load of our dirty laundry for us (even folded and buttoned my shirts!!) for about 16 Euros. That was the bargain of our entire trip! Be sure to take them up on that.

A very pleasant stay in a simple but quite comfortable hotel -- friendly reception with excellent English open 24h, and the location simply can't be beat; steps from everything in the heart of Granada. Unusually fancy shower for a modestly priced hotel!

Loved our stay in this little hotel tucked in an alley in central Granada area. Walking distance to the Cathedral, Alcaiceria, Lower Albaicin, Gran Via and the shopping district. Plaza Nueva and Plaza Isabel Catolica was also conveniently located near the hotel where we could catch the little red bus to go to Alhambra and Sacramonte area. Lots of great restaurants in the area too. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was great too. Rooms were on the small side just like most of the hotels in Europe. They were clean, bed was comfortable. Didn't have an iron though which would have been great to have to keep clothes crisp when we go out. Would stay here again if I go back to Granada and would recommend it to friends and family as well.

This hotel is a great value, and is located in a fun area of Granada, which is full of restaurants and shops. The room and hotel were very nice. In addition, the lady who checked us in was very patient and helpful with our Alhambra tickets.....when to show up, what gate to use (based on our ticket time), where to catch a taxi (becuz it's very hilly), etc. etc. We were so pleased with the help, since we had just come from Seville, where we had missed our Royal Apartments tour by minutes...becuz we couldn't find the right entrance. :(

Several leading guidebooks did not list this wonderful hotel. Their bad, because this is a hidden gem. In years of travel, I don't think I've encountered a friendlier, more helpful front desk. The flower-bedecked lobby is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. And the location in the historic old city is excellent. Visitors to this fascinating could not do better than Hotel Anacapri!

We khew we had stepped into a good hotel. Reception warm. The premises immaculate; the room , too. Maids smiling and the busy breakfast hostess taking a moment to teach a few words to our teen daughter. Discovering we were in the heart of Granada, we felt welcomed by the town. Ferdinand and Isabella sleep across the next callein the chapel. The old silk market and a lovely square a skip away. La Alhambra? Reception arranges a taxi. Hotel Anacapri, the sublime way to stay.
