Stayed over new years and after staying at a few dreary hotels in Spain, we loved this hotel.

For the price we got a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the Alhambra with a view of the Sierra mountains. New years was spectacular as we had front row seats to the fireworks and our own little space to get away from the busy streets. Being on the fourth floor, it was also quite quiet.

I have to compliment the large and comfy bed, the spotless room and neat bathroom. Hot showers and a heater in the room made sure we were always comfortable. Rooms were a decent size too.

We were eating breakfast out given some of the reviews here but decided to eat in given how affordable it was at just 11 Euros.

The hotel is a short car ride from the train station and in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere, to the chapel, Alhambra, around the Albaycin and Sacromonte.

Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

It's the second time I've been there in the Comfort Dauro 2. The value for money is unbeatable. The location is perfect, right on Calle Navas which is where the tapes and movement is, although in the room you can not hear anything because they are well soundproofed.

This is my second time to stay in this hotel. I was very happy with my first experience so it was a good decision to come back. We booked a double room and we were very happy with the stay.

The double room had a double bed, bathroom (including a toilet with a built in bidet!), plenty of storage, mini fridge, air conditioning, safe, tv, desk and chair.
The room was quiet, even if it was located by the elevator/overlooking the patio area. The room was comfortable and so was the bed and pillows. Only thing not available in this room was tea/coffee making facility but we didn't really need it anyway. Lovely staff and easy to check in. Good wifi in the rooms too and the cleanliness was also satisfactory.

Overall, we were very pleased to have another stay at this hotel and would recommend it for the good value, central location to many restaurants, access to transportation and sightseeing.

Firstly the hotel is in a pedestrian area and I don't recommend it for travellers with cars.

The hotel has very clean rooms with excellent beds and bathrooms.

Very easy stay.

Rooms are very quiet with good air con, etc....

Breakfast at the hotel is available at a small charge and I felt was good value.

There is no overnight reception, only an emergency number with a electronic reception ATM type thing.

Right hotel. Very well located in the heart of Navas street with many restaurants next door. The room has a suitable size, not very large. It's deal is right and good service. Breakfast, fine, although they should change the pastries because it's not especially good. Nearby there are public parking lots, but they are somewhat expensive. The nearest is Ganivet Parking, but it usually fills up soon. Please note that breakfast starts at 8 am and if you have the entrance of the Alhambra early, you have to order picnic (two snacks, a fruit, a juice and a smoothie). Nearby there are no cafeterias that serve before 8. Breakfast should start sooner. Anyway, it is a highly recommended hotel.

Our stay in hotel was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was very central to the city and the sightseeing. The hotel's location was on a street that had plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from that offers tasty tapas and drinks.

We stayed on the third floor and the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable for us. The beds were very nice and had memory foam pillows. The room also had a small fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a good air conditioner.

Everything was very clean and the staff from housekeeping to the reception were very friendly. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and is really great value for money. 9/10!

The only thing I did not like was a light by the entrance of the hotel room that had a sensor- and it would turn on and off at inconvenient times if you were near it. It's not a major thing, but I wish there was a way to turn it on or off without the sensor.

This hotel is a terrible hotel. I have no idea how it gets some great reviews. Maybe the hotel standards for those who liked it are very low. We drove to Granada and the hotel is in an area of the city where cars are only allowed by permit and the hotel itself does not have access by car. It was complicated! Do not stay here if you have a car. When you enter the hotel, the ugly, plain and tacky decorations are an eye sore. There is no lobby and there is one person (a gentleman) who is not friendly at all, helping guests to check in through a machine.
Once we got to our room, there was a horrible sewer smell in the tiny room with no place to put your clothes or bathroom things. We asked to be moved to another room, and at least they accommodated our request. We traveled with another couple. The next day after our arrival, their room had a water leak that was flooding the room. They had to be moved to another room.
The wi-fi was terrible and I was unable to get a good signal throughout our stay. I would not recommend this hotel at all!!!

Overall a very good 2 night stay at Hotel Dauro Comfort 2

The staff were all very nice and friendly

The room was very modern - comfy bed, very clean & very nice powerful shower

The hotel provided nice shower gel & shampoo, usually find hotel shampoo & shower gels to be cheap and not nice. This wasn’t the case with Hotel Dauro

Iron was available on request from reception

Breakfast was nice, open until 10.30am on weekdays and 11am on weekends. I arrived very close to closing time one day but the staff didn’t fuss and let me take my time with breakfast. There’s plenty of variety - cereals, breads & spreads, yoghurts, fruit & pastries. Tea, coffee & orange juice also available.

The hotel is in an excellent location and close to all the main places in Granada. 20 minute walk to the Alhambra (very uphill though), 5 mins away from Plaza Nueva & 25 minute bus journey to the bus station. We used the ALSA bus to travel between Granada, Malaga & Seville.

The only downside would be that we had a room on the street side where it was noisy. We were on the second floor and could here a lot of noise from the street. The building opposite is currently undergoing some construction which did cause some of the noise on a morning unfortunately.

Overall, really happy with the hotel & would definitely recommend it.

This was a great centrally located hotel in Granada. The hotel is down a narrow cobblestone street lined with restaurants. You immediately get the feel of this amazing city.

About 15-20 min from the airport to the hotel. At the far end of the narrow road is the Main Street. 5 min walk and you’re in the heat of back alleyway filled with tourists, shops and restaurants. Plaza Nueva is about 7 min walk and you Dan walk to Alhambra in about 15 min, however it’s uphill.

The attendant gave me a great room, very spacious. The decor was nice and modern, kettle and mini fridge. Shower/tub was big and bathroom was very spacious!

Pillowed were a bit firm for my liking, but good.

The only downside is the outside areas can be noisy due to location. It’s right near a karaoke club and pick up for garbage and bottles seem to happen at 2am which can be loud.

Overall location was fantastic and I would definitely come back again.

We got a room at the last minute since we were unhappy with the hotel we were staying at. The manager was kind enough to show us the actual room before we booked it. It was on the second floor right above the eating street but the soundproofing was excellent was we slept soundly! Modern decor, good lighting, efficiently laid out room. Our one complaint was the the TV would turn on every time we entered the room and put our card on to turn on the power. The desk is only manned during the day but there was a number you could call for emergencies. Loved the location and the room and for a very reasonable price. Would stay here again when in Granada.

Possibly but I would not risk it. When we were there a couple from Germany was asking the hotel to get tickets for a certain date and they could not since the date was already sold out.

Hi! when you make the reservation they will send you where to park, then you go to the hotel, give the keys and they will do VIP parking taking the car to their garage. Really good service!

I do not know because we did not ask them to prepare scrambled eggs but in many of the hotels we visited if eggs in the form you like were not displayed, you could ask the help to prepare them for you.
