The best hotel my family and i have ever stayed in, it was better brand we expected, we will return as soon as possible. We had such a good time, thank you to The Esperanza staff for everything, we will never forget our happy times with you. Best wishes from the Tiglao family.
We just returned from a family trip to Spain. One of fhe hotels we stayed in was La Esperanza. I cannot have asked for a better place for our family reunion after covid. The hotel is incredible. Simply incredible in every way. Service. Food. Rooms. Location. Five stars for everything.
We just did the La Esperanza stay experience that everyone is talking about. What an incredible place. It wows you from the moment you drive thru the gate for the first time but the experience just gets better and better. With every day, you fall more in love with the beauty of the hotel, the nature, the warm service and the paradise that the owner created. then you hear the story of how this hotel began and everything just makes it more magical. La Esperanza is the perfect place to fall in love and you will also fall in love with it with your whole heart. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us so wonderfully. We will be back!!
We spent New Year’s Eve at this lovely hotel and stayed one week, all the way to Three Kings’ Day. It’s an LVX Preferred Hotels property so we had some expectations of grandeur, having stayed in many same category hotels before. Instead it has only eight rooms so it’s almost like staying in some Spanish duke’s house as his guests. We booked three of the eight rooms and each was different, with its own personality and theme. The furnishings were obviously expensive art and antiques, chosen so well that we felt we were characters in a painting. For a small hotel, the food and service are top notch. The chef created dazzling meals every night and the two managers on-site looked after us so well, anticipating our wishes. We were very happy here, doing day trips on some days and just playing tennis or relaxing on other days. And the hotel breakfast, served individually rather than in a buffet, was delicious. Highly recommended for those who seeking a balance of busy sightseeing and relaxing days in Spain.…
I am writing this after breakfast in the lovely flamenco themed breakfast room of La Esperanza and checking out, and this is our second visit. What a surprise! We loved it during our first visit but now it is so much more beautiful. We are so glad to be here for the holidays. The decor for Christmas leaves me breathless. Everything is created with great care but it is all just flowers and pine cones from the gardens. The rooms are even more beautiful now, truly, with exquisite antiques and paintings. The food is as good as ever so we never want to eat elsewhere. Best of all is the service. Napo and Krum are just wonderful! And now the resort is completely green with solar energy so we are very happy to be supporting this wonderful place where time stops and you feel you have been transported to the beautiful and elegant old world of Spain.I am writing this from the lovely flamenco themed breakfast room of La Esperanza and this is our second visit. La Esperanza Granada is one of the most special places I have ever been. This is a unique, exquisite property, where you will find tranquility and hospitality that makes it my favorite place to recharge. Once you arrive (after a drive through the picturesque countryside surrounding Granada), you are treated with incredible vistas and architectural details that give the property a sense of place that can be hard to find in some of these types of properties. The surrounding countryside is awe inspiring, and as you walk the grounds you cannot help but notice the stunning views available from every corner of the property. The tranquil beauty of the enormous courtyard, and the interior design and unique furnishings of the master suite, make you feel like you are in your own country home. Over my multiple trips, I have had the pleasure of enjoying many of the experiences and local tours that La Esperanza offers (Granada tapas tour, Spanish guitar, flamenco, paella making, stargazing, mixology – to name a few). You can tell La Esperanza takes great care in choosing the people who lead these activities – focusing on people from the local area who are extremely knowledgeable about their craft, proud of their culture, and dedicated to showcasing the best the region has to offer. What truly makes this place special, however, are the people on property who make it their daily mission to deliver an amazing guest experience at La Esperanza. From the moment you land at the airport, Eugenio (the hotel driver) is extremely warm and welcoming. Every detail of the trip was meticulously planned and orchestrated by Napo, the General Manager. Napo and his colleague, Krum, have an innate ability to anticipate your every wish, all of which they fulfill with such grace and a big smile (Napo also puts together a top shelf Spanish breakfast!). Napo and Krum go above and beyond at every possible moment to make La Esperanza feel like home. I can’t end without highlighting the amazing food. I’ve eaten most of my meals on property each time I’ve stayed here, and with each meal, Chef Cone (a world class chef living in the next town over) has found memorable ways to highlight the bountiful local produce and unique flavors of the region La Esperanza Granada has a very special place in my heart and I cannot wait to return many more times to my home in Spain. …
We stayed here for the last three nights of our honeymoon and we upgraded to the master suite. We have never stayed anywhere like it before and we would thoroughly recommend it. The views from the terraces were spectacular, the decor was so authentic throughout and everything was spotless. A special mention to the staff who were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. We had the private chef dinners, the best food we have ever had, the chef cooked with so much passion and it really showed in the food. For a special treat, we would also recommend the flamenco show which takes place in the inner courtyard. The artists were so talented and the courtyard was stunning lit up at night. We had some lovely photographs taken by one of the members of staff who was so professional. If you are looking for somewhere special to stay, definitely look no further than here, we will definitely be returning at some point!…
My significant other and I have just returned from a destination wedding at this most perfect place for weddings and romantic holidays. The couple was from Paris and they chose this hotel because they wanted a hacienda style wedding. It was just gorgeous. It is not a fashionable or stylish kind of hotel, but it is beautiful and unforgettable. I wanted to take photos of everything and everywhere, and to suddenly redecorate my house in the same style. So elegant and lovely rather than just stylish. It is especially beautiful at night with the dramatic lighting. Next time, we will return for a holiday just by ourselves to really enjoy this beautiful hotel. It is a must to stay here if you are longing for a very special place in Spain.
Nestled in the heart of the Lecrin Valley, La Esperanza Granada is the luxe Alhambra-esque hacienda boutique hotel fit for an idyllic staycation. With sweeping views of the valley, it is an welcoming enclave after a day trip to the beautiful towns of Andalucia. Private transfers to Ronda, Malaga, Marbella, Frigiliana, McArthur Glen outlets can be arranged. It serves as a good base in Granada. The vast estate boasts of amenities such as a loft style private villa and double rooms, a tennis court, a swimming pool with a cabana and a cozy reading nook, numerous instagrammable spots, a hot ex-ASKAL general manager Napo and his efficient side kick Krum. Not to mention the resident tabby ( wild) cat that begs food and attention. Meals can be ordered on demand by Chef Cone who has cooked for the King.of Spain and he could certainly prepare a feast fit for a king. HIs callos and deconstructed cochinillo shouldn’t be missed. The masseuse is on call for a relaxing massage or facial. I didn’t expect anything less from proprietress and travel curator extraordinaire Christine Cunanan. She was meant to be the lady of the manor. What is good enough for Christine is certainly good enough for me !…
This is the ideal place to stay in when in Andalucia. After visiting the towns and cities during the day, coming home to the calming, quiet and serene atmosphere of La Esperanza is the perfect way to unwind. The surroundings and views are stunning, with lots of nooks you’d love to relax in. Food and service are excellent. Their astronomy night is also quite an experience. Thank you to Napo, Krum, the chef, and the entire staff at La Esperanza for this magical vacation I’ll never forget!
