If you want to be within walking distance of all the main attractions in Granada this hotel is perfect. We walked easily everywhere. It is a city centre hotel. Friendly staff, nice room overlooking the square. Not too noisy at night. Breakfast was fine but my only caveat on this is the breakfast service isn't great. The first morning we went in the breakfast room was empty and there was a good selection. The second morning the selection was very poor and there wasn't any effort to 'top' things up. If you have a hire car the recommended parking is about a ten minute walk - but an easy walk. That said if you want a great Granada hotel look no further.
I always look for a hotel with parking and this hotel was very central but offered parking - once booked and non refundable the hotel sent an email to say parking was in a public car park 350 metres away. I was far from impressed after driving 8 hours to carry baggage from the public car park, which according to the App on my phone is more than 1000 paces from the hotel. Staff were pleasant & helpful, the poor man who runs the breakfast room by himself couldn't work any harder and he works at full speed. I don't agree with reviews I've seen of excellent breakfast, it's adequate but the breakfast room itself is not large enough to cope, gets crowded and there were guests waiting outside when we were there. I had booked a double room but had twin beds pushed together and we found the beds to be very hard so sleeping wasn't good after a days walkabout. Air conditioning failed twice but can be reset at the Reception desk, just a phone call required. Location is good for walking around the central city. Just about makes it's 4 stars in my opinion.…
It was a nightmare experience. The hotel is in the pedestrian part of town hard to go there by car. Avoid this hotel. The rooms are dark and small. Parking far away. We asked for rooms next to each other because of kids and they gave us depressing rooms on different floors. We have not accepted and wanted some refund. At least one room but the rejected and we lost all the money and had to go to an other hotel. For our request by mail not even answer.
Really nice hotel, breakfast is okay, decent amount of options. Really nice spacious room. Nice shower. Only downside was the room temperature, it was very warm and the Airconditioning didn’t work. We opened the window but couldn’t leave it open during the night because of the noice outside. The location is in near the cathedral and restaurants. Would stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay here. Justo and Eduardo could not have been nicer and more helpful. The location s ideal, near the Grand Via and St. Agustin Food Mercado which is a shopping experience. We were able to walk to the Alhambra and to the St. Nicholas view point. The room was clean, modern and had everything you could need. A great value! Highly recommend!
We returned here having stayed in 2019 and it’s just as nice as it was then. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff and great location. Covid regulations were well observed without being intrusive. It’s so close to the cathedral and a short walk to Alhambra; perfect for a city break.
Daniel on reception who greeted us was very nice and knowledgeable, thanks. Our room was light, clean and airy. The waiter at breakfast was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back again.
Could not physically get to hotel due to no fly restrictions in Australia. Hotel refused to refund money where other hotels refunded as they understood and sympathised with their customers. I would never go to this hotel.
Stayed in one the the apartments at the back of the hotel, had a lovely view of the plaza! Everyday you could hear and see hundreds of birds flocking to the trees, such a lovely experience! Great location, shops all down the street, the catherdral is right round the corner and there are plenty of restaurants in the square and nearby plus convienience stores. The apartment itself was beautiful!
We stayed here over the New Year period for a week in room 209. Although the hotel isn't 4* by UK standards the room was very comfortable and clean, with a large comfy bed. One down-side to the bed was the terrible pillows (a common theme in a number of hotels we've stayed in). Other than that, it was good. We overlooked the square and had no problems with exterior noise. There's plenty of hanging space (though not much drawer space) and a safe and refrigerator. The bathroom was large with a decent shower. We experience a few bad smells coming from the drains (food smells from lower floors) on a couple of occasions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast (on the one occasion we took it) was plentiful and a good selection of items.
