Waitress in the breakfast area this morning was very rude to some hotel guests. The guests were making small sandwiches to take with them because they weren’t quite hungry yet. The waitress took the sandwiches and reprimanded the guests in front of everyone to see and hear. Not friendly at all. Not sure I’d want to come back here.
If you are looking for a no-frills, basic place to stay then this is the place! Rooms are large and clean, but fixtures and furnishings look better in photos than IRL. Mattress wasn't very comfortable and bathroom shower walls are "stickers" rather than tile. Best part of the stay was the abundant buffet breakfast.
Nice hotel with room on a smaller size. Room had coffee maker. Reasonable breakfast, but not the best I had in Spain. Rooftop pool is very small. Gym is small, but at least they have dumbbells . Stuff is nice. Hotel is located about 15-18 min walk from city center. Not too many restaurants around hotel.
Beautiful hotel with a small pool on the rooftop. Nice pool bar with good food. Breakfast was really good with self-made pancakes and fresh eggs. A lot of choice for everyone. Walking distance 20 minutes to the city center which is perfectly fine.
As other have said around 10 minutes walk from City Centre but close to all attractions. Rooms are excellent, spacious and have a nice bathroom. Tea and cofee provided and rooms kept spotless by cleaners. Did not use amenities on offer or eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on quality. Only one minor negative was around wifi - brilliant in reception but 'patchy" in room and would often lose connectivity. Overall first rate hotel and would return.
Good comfortable stay. Room was spacious and nice and bright and very clean. Bathroom spacious and clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. Good number of powerpoints. Coffee and tea provided. Shower has good water pressure and hot water. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Would stay again.
This member if the Catalonia group is a bit outwith the city centre, but easy walking to the station. Plenty of bus stops close by, and during my stay I was glad to be somewhat away from the thronging centre. The hotel is very comfortable as was my room (I was given an upgrade-very nice thank you!). There's a gym and other facilities I didn't use, and a bar which I did. The breakfast was typically very good, and the staff also, and friendly which is a boon given the understandable attitude of Europeans to the Brits, post Brexit. I used room service for dinner, as quite a number of restaurants etc. seem to have closed, presumably as a result of Covid. The food was fine, and inexpensive. Overall, the hotel was very good value, I'd certainly go back.
Location is not really ideal, reception staff are unwelcoming, and WiFi does not work. I would not recommend it to my friends/associates as Granada has much better options within the similar price point…I’m not also sure about their Covid hygiene standards as you can observe several guests without masks within facilities and many smoking in front of the Hotel.
We booked one of their best rooms, their only terrace room (#621) one of their priciest (115 € /night, normal rooms started at 56€), we stayed 3 nights. When we arrived, there were human hairs on the floor and food crumbles. Our terrace was filthy and not scrubbed for weeks. They cleaned both after we complained. Our room floor was not properly cleaned daily, we asked them to RE do it daily. Our bathroom sink was broken, an evidence of poor maintenance Corridors were dusty. The swimming pool bottom was filled with broken porcelain tiles. We were not told about any of the hotel facilities during check in, we discovered on the last day there is a spa. We did not know whether our tariff included breakfast if we didn't ask, nor were we offered to pay for it, so we had it at the excellent bar next door. On the pros side, hotel is modern, the bathroom equipped with a super large tub and a bidet. The terrace was amazing with its large cabana bed, tables and chairs. A pleasure if clean. The bed was very comfy so were all the beddings and towels. There was a nespresso machine in the room. The pool is tiny but a nice add on, the roof top terrace worthy of having a drink if the bar is open. Location is fine, walking distance to the old town, it was easy to park nearby in a free spot (before 17h!) I recommend the place for € / night, but if you can spend 15 € more and go to a 5* in the centre do it. Staff and management were friendly. Pity essential tasks are not part of their daily job.…
The room was very spacious and the breakfast excellent. There was a lot of choice. The room was very clean and the location close to everything. It is a small walk to the city centre and +/- 20 min to Alhambra. We would recommend this hotel!
