Firstly, this was a lovely hotel. Amazing decor, views to die for and comfy beds. The staff were helpful and accommodating. It's definitely not a 1* as advertised. But there was no water in the room which was disappointing, especially when the nearest shop is a 25 minute walk away down one of Spain's steepest hills. The room was comfy...

As a solo traveller I booked the basic double. It was small and served my needs but I personally would have found it too small had I been accompanied. Check your room space when you book. The breakfast is varied but basic and although there are lots of options on the evening menu be aware I don't think these were...

One of our highlights in Spain was finding this little gem. What a view! We walked everywhere from here, the Alhambra is five minutes away. But the views, you can see all of Madrid! This hotel has pretty much everything, from free parking, to a pretty good breakfast, very nice, albeit a little small, room. Very helpful staff. But again,...

Based on the many recommendations, we managed to book this hotel and what a surprise. We must admit, it could be a challenge to find your parking spot in front of the hotel, but you'll manage somehow (at least we did). We were welcomed by two lovely ladies which English was no problem. We had an early check in and...

We stayed 3 nights in this small hotel on the mountain. The room is small but enough for a couple. The large terrace and view is the main reason we took this hotel. It does not have a restaurant but they can cater some food. The bed was ok and it was quite clean. It is relatively inexpensive and is...

If you want a bird's eye view of the city and of the Alhambra, this could be the hotel for you. Located high up on the "other" hill, it also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from its enclosed roof-top terrace, which also serves as a bar and restaurant. Our room was comfortable, the shower worked well, the staff...

Parking a little hairy on the hillside but once inside what a delightful hotel, upgrade to the terrace room for €12 extra and the views are breathtaking. Sierra Nevada mountains to the left, Alhambra to the right and down to Granada. Equipped with a sun lounger, table and 2 chairs you won't be disappointed. Memory foam bed, super multi nozzled...

30th wedding anniversary trip. This was our best night really before going to the Alhambra first thing the next morning. It was worth having the view (a free upgrade when we checked-in), the room was small but comfortable and being able to open the french doors and look out over the city lights was brill. The small restaurant area was...
