I was given a warm welcome, Laura kindly let me check in earlier than my 2pm recommendation time. I forgot I paid for Bed and Breakfast and glad I did as everything on display was delicious and it was one less thing to worry about. The location is so close to the metro station and the beach - so I was pleased that I didn't have to go to far to go anywhere. I originally planned to meet with friends who live out here, however this worked out better for me. As I was able to do things in my own time.

The location of the hotel is quite a walk to the beach area, lovely walk through the market etc however a lot of stairs and uphill. The rooms we stayed in were clean, modern and the reception area is lovely.. we however we’re awoken on our first morning by water pourinf through the ceiling and the lights we went to reception and someone attended straight away we had to leave them in the room whilst they worked on the issue but we were happy it was being resolved. When we returned we were told it was all resolved. The following morning again the same thing happened however this time some of our belongings were covered in the dirty water. This was the morning of my partners 30th birthday so I was less pleased about the situation - this time no one attended for over an hour and when we approached reception again the girl on the desk was less than helpful and quite dismissive. After waiting another few hours on the manager arriving we had to again for back to them to chase for an update which caused us to miss out on a morning trip we had planned. On day 2 the staff seemed less concerned and the manager advised they hadn’t actually fixed the issue the previous day as they couldn’t access the room above so they were aware it would happen again. We were moved to a larger room following this however the day had been impacted by then. There was also not enough beds for standard guests. They have a large area reserved for club members however each day all full length loungers were full within 15mins of the pool opening. They will then charge you for use of cabanas when the pool area is full. Nice hotel however service/experience could be improved

Thank you so much to all staff at Alua Soul. This was our second stay and everything was just as perfect as our first, a few weeks ago. I was so grateful that the requests I made before travel were accommodated. As I previously stated in my last review, all staff, front desk, catering, housekeeping, bar and entertainment go the extra mile to take great care of the guests. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and the size and space of the dining room is wonderful….. as is the choice and quality of the food. ¡Muchas gracias y hasta luego! M.C.

From start to finish this holiday was one of the best we have ever been on . We have been to torremolinos about 20 times over the past 10 years , and stayed at this hotel about 6 times . We have always enjoyed the hotel although slightly a little far from town centre and beach although there is a free regular bus .The hotel has definitely up its game . It’s smarter looking and more modern . Ever where in the hotel was super clean , food was absolutely fantastic with good choice ever meal time . The only time you queued for anything was at the weekend , when the Spanish arrived for their short breaks . The staff were very friendly and helpful especially a guy called Imed he was with guests relations . What a fellow he never stopped from morning to night always had a smile he definitely made our holiday more enjoyable. He’s been there a number of years and is always the same . A really big thank you to him
