Location- This hotel is definately worth a visit. The location is superb. On the 1st floor you will find the beach a 2-3 minutes walk away and on the 8th floor, upon exit, you will find all the shops. The shops on the beach side are cheap and offer loads of Spanish made items. You can exchange money in the main shopping centre but some of them require your passport or ID to do this. Reception- the man at reception is brilliant. We had a small issue with our room on the second floor and he moved us to the tenth floor within minutes. He confirmed our transfer on the telephone for us and even offered us a free visit to the solarium as it was our anniversary. Staff- Jose Miguel and Francisco from the restaurant will go above and beyond in helping you. Muhammad the chef made the tastiest noodles for us. The staff are really hard working. Gym- the gym is very basic and has just 3 machines but i guess your on holiday so it’s very low on the priority list. Food- the breakfast is immense! They have a lot of variety and make everything fresh on the spot. As we are vegetarians, the evening food had lots of variety and at least 2-3 veg options each evening. You have to pay for the drinks if you are half board. Water costs 2.20 euros. Bedroom- the room is huge. 2 bedsides, lamp, free safe, fridge, dresser and wardrobe. Bed is very comfortable. I requested an extra pillow and it arrived in less than 2 minutes! The room is very clean and bedding and towels are changed daily. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and cap are included in the bathroom. Fresh towels daily and the staff work very hars in making such the room is always clean. They sweep and mop daily too. I would definately come here again. A huge thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome.…
We booked a 2-week stay at the end of October with half board (breakfast and dinner). LOCATION: We chose this hotel due to its location and its easy access from the beach level to the city centre level via its elevator. There are lots of grocery markets, restaurants, bars, and shops very close by. The Torremolinos train station that runs from Malaga to Fuengirola is only short walk from the hotel. ROOM: We opted for a balcony room with king bed. The room was well-cleaned daily. • BED: The mattress, pillows, sheets and blankets were very comfortable. It is true that the walls are paper thin, so learning of this through Trip Advisor reviews, we requested a room on the 3rd floor and that was very far from the elevator to avoid noisy passerby guests in the corridor. • CLOSET: The closet contained a small 3-drawer dresser, a free to use digital safe large enough to store a laptop, extra pillows, two blankets, and a duvet comforter. I brought with me several plain drycleaner hangers as I find there are never enough hangers in a hotel closet. • BALCONY: The balcony was a bit small with the floor tilted a bit outwards to drain water. There were two chairs and a small table. An ashtray can be requested without issue. Tip: Don’t leave the patio door opened when smoking on the balcony as the room’s smoke alarm is sensitive. • DESK / COFFEE: The desk contains 2 drawers for extra need storage. There is an electric kettle and a few instant coffee packets, tea bags, sugar, and creamers available upon arrival. If you request more coffee or tea, these are then charged. If you have the breakfast meal option, there are tea bags and instant coffee packets available at the buffet that you can bring back to your room. There were two small water bottles available upon arrival. Two ceramic mugs available. Tip: We had ordered through Amazon some single Starbuck instant coffee packets that we brought with us from Canada so we could have coffee in the room before heading to the breakfast buffet. • NIGHTSTANDS: These contained a drawer for additional storage, and the outlet for the lamps also included USB ports to charge phones and electronics. • TV / WIFI: The TV contained lots of channels in English, French, German, Italian, and others. The WIFI signal was strong for our phones and laptop. • REFRIGERATOR: The small fridge is empty when you arrive, worked well, and was large enough to fit beer, wine, snacks, etc. • AIR CONDITIONING: Worked very well and was extremely silent. BATHROOM: The bathroom was standard with shower, toilet and sink. • SHOWER: It contained a clothesline that you can pull out. There were a rain shower head as well as a movable spray head. Wall-mounted shower gel/shampoo combo was available in a pump format. • HOOKS: There were two hooks on the wall behind the bathroom door. • SINK AREA: The counter space and shelf beneath the sink were sufficient to hold our 2 weeks’ worth of personal stuff. Some basic amenities are included (body lotion, shampoo, etc.), and there is a wall-mounted hand soap pump dispenser. • TOWELS: The towels were good, not stained, and comfortable. We had 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and a terry bathmat that you can have changed daily if you wished so. Tip: Facecloths are not typical in Europe, so we always bring our own. RESTAURANT: We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner meals on the roof top terrace that contained beautiful views of the sea, beach area and the town. Some of the sunrises were magnificent. • BREAKFAST BUFFET: Every morning the buffet was well kept and contained a good variety of choices. Hot choices usually consisted of Spanish tortilla, scrambled eggs, gilled eggs, bacon, black pudding, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, etc. – all the ingredients for a full English breakfast. Other warm foods included, waffles, pancakes, churros, etc. You can also have omelettes and eggs cooked to order. Cold items included a variety of fresh fruit, breads, sweet danishes, doughnuts, yogurts, cheeses, hams, salamis, cereals, milk, juice, sparkling wine (cava), water, sparkling water, and lots more. A toaster is available, as well a large machine to select coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot water, etc. Tip #1: Drinks such as coffee, tea, waters, sparkling wine, juice, etc. are only included in the breakfast buffet and not in the dinner buffet. Tip #2: If you need to leave the hotel in the morning before 8 am for an excursion or checking out for your flight, inform reception and they will ensure that the restaurant will open earlier for coffee and some cold breakfast items. • DINNER BUFFET: There was good variety, and some appetizer and main course items changed from day to day. Each evening there was a carving station with either pork roast, chicken, duck, or turkey, etc. The soup changed daily. There were good choices of vegetables, rice, potatoes, meats, and the buffet included a cooked to order pasta station. One evening there was a vegetable stir fry cooked to order with all ingredients to make your own fajita. Every night there were gazpacho verrines, and a good variety of individual portions of appetizers as well as chesses, breads, etc. The salad bar held a good selection, as well as the various Spanish olive oils and balsamic and red wine vinegars. The Spanish wines were offered at a very reasonable price by the glass (approx. 2 euros) or bottles ranging from 9 to 11 euros. When you order a bottle and do not finish it, ask the server to store it for another time and they will include a label with your room number. A good choice of desserts was also in place. We were there during Halloween and the cooks did an amazing job with the buffet items decorated in a Halloween theme. SERVICES: • STAFF: From reception, food and beverage, to housekeeping staff, all were pleasant and professional. • POOL: The beautiful infinity pool is not heated and was quite chilly in October. Bali beds and loungers in place were well kept. The food truck was not open when we were there. • GYM, SPA, AND VIP SECTION: I cannot comment as we did not use these. • NIGHTY ENTERTAINMENT: We did not attend these, but there were a few evenings where either singing or magic acts were scheduled in the hotel’s theatre. OVERALL: We would return to this hotel when in the area as we enjoyed the location, and the uniqueness and practicality of its elevator to easily take us from the beach area to the town area without needing to walk up and down the many stairs. The hotel, although standard, was very comfortable and we would again select the half board meal plan without hesitation.…
Excellent hotel. That’s all I really need to say. Check in was fast and a glass of cava while you waited. Staff really friendly and helpful. Views are good from hotel, upside down like some say very good lol. Reception on floor 8 and pool on ground floor. Pool says it is heated but not, however we did manage to go in and this was end of October. Weather was hot for this time of year. Pool bar was closed but not an issue. We went bed and breakfast, breakfast was great massive choice from hot to cold options. Bacon was not too good but sausages good English ones, and cava if you wanted it. Air-con and safe both free. Room good size with balcony 501 sea view. Bed was so comfy. Kettle in room with tea/coffee the first day after that you pay but local shop near by. Fridge in room and free toiletries in bathroom. Location is brilliant ground floor brings you to the beach reception way out brings you to the San Miguel square. This area is a must plenty of bars/restaurants and shops.…
Wonderful week We stayed at the Hotel for the second time we loved it so much. Staff all great especially Angela and her team on reception all so pleasant and all so friendly. Good great always something for everyone, room spotless and and device great. Language not a barrier ever. We also were ther with all the local pensioners who were also great and did they like dancing. Great time and all being well we will return.
This is our third visit to the hotel. We had a double room with balcony overlooking the pool which was fantastic, lovely and clean with a good shower. All areas of the hotel are very clean and the fragrance they pipe around the hotel smells lovely. The food was really good and all the staff are friendly and polite. The hotel did get busy when three coaches of Spanish pensioners arrived for their holidays. They did take over the hotel we never got to see the entertainment as they packed out the room and most of the sunbed s around the pool we removed and replaced with a lot of chairs for the pensioners meetings. While this didn't really bother us it could have spoilt it for some people. The hotel is in an ideal location for everyone it's good that you can either go out of reception to street level or from the pool area you can exit the hotel and are one road away from the beach. We will be returning to this hotel in the future and wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Torremolinos.…
Stayed in a room for 3 people, the room was a little tight but ideal for our stay. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The pool area is so clean and looked after, the pool was very cold though. We stayed half board, and the food was really good, waiter staff so friendly as were all staff especially at reception Location is excellent Nice and quiet when sleeping Would defiantly stay again
Hotel is generally very clean and tidy.Rooms are air conditioned with a large bathroom. Towels were changed daily. Location was great, close to the beach and only a short walk from the town centre. Pool area was nice with plenty of sunbeds, also a jacuzzi on floor 9 which was great for all day sun.Staff were very friendly, especially the gentleman in the bar. Food was good although it would have benefitted with been served slightly warmer at times. The the only advice I'd give the owners is that fitting new floor covering in the corridors would give the hotel an even more luxurious feel.
Very nice hotel, centrally located, a little dated but clean. Rooms very comfortable. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Pool is lovely as are the bali beds. Room only so we paid €8 each for breakfast, buffet style so worth it.
Great location, access to the beach qnd also the city center Outstanding Service, employees are always happy to help Very convenient to take the package with the breakfast and 1 meal per day The hotel is Adults only, which was great for us too
Fantastic location - close to the beach, but also close to the town centre. Strange hotel layout - the reception is on the 8th floor and leads out to the town, and the pool is on the 1st floor which leads out towards the beach… a bit confusing at first! The hotel itself was decent enough, although a bit dated in some areas. Breakfast was good - loved the selection. The pool area was ok - small but had a bar serving reasonably priced drinks. The pool itself is quite small and not very deep. Staff were fantastic - from the front desk to the cleaning staff, top marks!
