Unfortunately,on arrival we were told that the hotel was full and that they had booked us into another hotel and would pay for a taxi to take us there(the hotel was at the other side of Torremolinos. It was an absolute dump called the Puenta Real, tiny room complete with smoke fumes and ash tray.We left early next morning but had...

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Don Paquito and as previous reviews have said, this is a brilliant place to stay. The staff have to be the most dedicated, hard working staff in the whole of the Costa del Sol with a special mention to the girls in the restaurant. And talking about the restaurant,...

This is our 7th time at the Paquito, we normally visit this time of year. First time back since the bedroom renovations. I note that the hotel has dropped to 4th in trip advisor ratings and although we enjoyed our stay as usual I did feel that it was not quite as good as in the past. I was not...

I reviewed this hotel last October. As before absolutely fantastic. Rooms have been refurbished since our last visit with walk in showers which are perfect for older people. Meals are first class, if you are on half board there are plenty of choices. Bar and restuarant staff work very hard to please the guests. Cleaning ladies do an excellent job...

Fantastic location. Clean tasteful rooms. Quiet small hotel. Don't have to fight for a subbed. Happy hour 5-6 lush cocktails. Not far to walk to Carihuela which is gorgeous. Highly recommend and I would go back. Would not recommend for kids - it's more of an adult hotel. Kids would spoil it ha ha !!! Breakfast was nice. Lunch was...

Just returned from a second stay at Hotel Don Paquito. Was definitely as good as my previous stay. Once again found that the staff were friendly, courteous and polite. Food selection is great and always something suitable on offer. The refurbished rooms are lovely. The only suggestion I would make is to have a shelf in the walk-in shower for...

Just stayed here, room only, for 5 nights. Rooms lovely. Great location. Most people seem over 40 so hotel nice and quiet. Tv in room with BBC and ITV. Three minute walk to the beach. Great loungers where you pay 3.50 euro at reception instead of 4.50 at the beach. The beach is fab. Pool only small. Would definitely stay...
