Our 10th visit to the Alegria apartments and nothing changes. Lovely Spanish atmosphere in an out of apartments. If you like old fashioned self catering with a twist of Spanish influence, these apartments are for you. We always stay beach-side, so nice to eat breakfast watching the sun rise over the ocean. Marie-Carmen, who cleans these apartments to the highest standard is a gem, as is Mary who looks after the bookings etc. You won’t find a nicer, friendly place to stay. Even the terrapins remain in the first floor pool within the lovely hidden garden.

Perfectly positioned on the first line, facing the Playa de Carihuela, there are 6 sea-view and 6 street-view Studio Apartments, comfortably equipped in traditional Spanish style, with a complete kitchenette including a two-ring electric hotplate, fridge with freezer compartment and crockery/cutlery for 4. The complex is immaculately maintained by the very affable and efficient Housekeeper, Marie Carmen, who will do her utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Many guests invariably return year on year.

In spite of the heaviest rainfall I ever experienced in Spain our little studio apartment is cosy and warm and clean as it always is when Maria Carmen preps your room. The sea views are better than television.

Cannot fault these apartments,lovely location , watching the sun set with a glass of wine and listening to the sound of waves on the beach. Well maintained by the lovely Maria Carmen I will be back next year it I.S such a relaxing holiday

These apartments are wonderful, although we have not visited Spain since 2014. We had a sea view apartment on 1st floor for 4 yrs running. Sitting on the balcony soaking up the sun & the beautiful view & people watching. Always beautifully presented & clean. Plenty of restaurants surrounding these apartments.

We love Alegria to bits! You wake every day to the sound of the waves on the beach; Marie Carmen keeps your room squeaky clean and you sit on you balcony and watch the world go by. At any time you can get a cup of coffee or a cold drink from the kitchenette and just relax.

Just returned from 17 days here, lovely Spanish apartment, kept spotless by Maria, lovely location, beach and bars one side, shops and bars other side, couldn't ask for a better location, also must mention Mary who was very helpful showing us other apartments, and booking taxi for return to airport

For the 3rd year running my wife and I stayed at these wonderful apartments, right on the seafront, Marie keeps them so clean with visits every day, she is so helpful and obliging Fresh towels every other day We have already booked for 2016

My friend and I were thrilled with our sea view room which was well equipped, with a small kitchen, iron and ironing board on request and hairdryer. Maria looked after our room and changed the sheets and towels every few days. Shall definitely go back.
