We have just spent a few days in this hotel and wish it had been longer! The hotel is beautiful and modern and the staff very friendly and helpful. The suites are very large with kitchen area which is great. Plenty of great amenities with a lovely sun lounger area and jacuzzi on the roof. The area is a bit hilly especially into the town but the beach is lovely and nearby.

We had a 3 week stay from 18th October 2022. Everybody working at this hotel is doing a fantastic job to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms were nice and clean. We had half board and we always found something to eat that was well prepared and tasteful. The restaurant manager Rafael and his team were excellent. The cleaning was very efficient. The reception staff were very helpful and always had a smile for their guests. There were enough sun loungers both by the main pool and also on the roof terrace. The therapy pool (32c) on the second floor is a must. We are definitely going back to this hotel and highly recommend it to others.

We booked a bit of a last minute on the cheaper side holiday for myself, my partner, my son and his girlfriend. We had two suites which were spacious and had a seating area, large double bed and a small kitchen area with a kettle, hob, fridge and microwave. I would only criticise that there was no tea/coffee/sugar provided. Please be aware some rooms don't have a balcony apparently so double check. Rooms were cleaned daily which we didn't expect. All the staff were really pleasant. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot to choose from and really good. The pool area is lovely and we never struggled for beds. There is a gym and indoor pool too. There is a handy lift that takes you up to the top street at the back of the hotel which then just leaves you a few minutes walk up the hill to the main shops and squares. Out the front of the hotel you are a few minutes from the beach and sea front shops, bars and restaurants. We also found some lovely places to eat if you walk past the big Melia hotel and follow the path round the rock. To summarise - clean, great value, good breakfast and facilities in a central location!

I wanted some sun without overspending and landed here. Could not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful at all times. Room was spotless and the aircon a godsend. Not every room has a balcony if that is a deal breaker for you, check first. It was nice to be able to get a spot by the pool without every bed being taken up at stupid o'clock. Patio area opened at 10, and it was not a free for all, and beds were not left unoccupied for hours on end. Conversely loungers on the beach were available for €6 and were very comfortable. Food is continental based and reflects the customer base, and was ok, some days better than others. Plenty of fresh fruit and salad though. If you fancied eating out, there are 1000's of eateries it seems, as Torremolinos centre is a 5 minute walk away, or you can walk for miles along the promenade. There are a couple of clubs at one end of the town for the party people, whereas it is very family oriented every where else. Local Police are a familiar site, but they never seemed to be anything other than a reassuring presence if one was needed.

We stayed at the MS Aguamarina Suites for 8 nights in July 2022. On arrival we were greeted by friendly reception staff, they weren’t sure if the room was ready when we arrived but after a quick phone call they said it was. One of the men working on reception showed us up to our rooms which was nice and told us about the hotel facilities. We booked a junior suite with a city view and the room was spacious enough for 2 of us. The room consisted of a bed, sofa, table, tv, kettle and coffee machine and a bathroom - the only annoying thing was the bathroom door was literally just a bit of glass and had gaps all the way round so water could leak out from the shower. We were booked in for breakfast and there were plenty of options, selections of fruit, cooked items, bread, cold cheeses and meats and cereal as well as tea, coffee and juices. The hotel pool was good, always sun beds available as there wasn’t any idiots there who reserved them from 7am!! The hotel also had an outdoor jacuzzi on the 7th floor which was nice to use of an evening. The spa was also really nice and the treatments aren’t too expensive. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk down to the beach where there are restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a lift up into the town centre, once out of the lift it’s about a 5 minute walk into the centre where there are shops, restaurants and bars as well as the train station and buses. Definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

When booking the two bedroom suite we were promised what seemed three rooms, two bedrooms and a living room, the website even stating “consisting of a lounge area and two different rooms for resting”. However, when we arrived we were met with a completely different room, a separate bedroom with a double bed and a living room with two single beds pushed together, a kitchen with absolutely no pots, pans, cups or cutlery and a bathroom with its own set of faults. As we booked the room with the impression we would be receiving a room with two separate bedrooms due to the misleading description on the website and a fully functioning kitchen, we were extremely disappointed with what we received. When asking the front desk about the availability of kitchen utensils, the answer was simply “no.” We had then sent an email to the hotel expressing disappointment as we had booked the room with the impression that we would be able to utilise the kitchen, as the website stated. As a result of this email, we were provided with a few sets of knives and forks and three plates, which were of no use as we were still unable to cook any meals. Our balcony was positioned in a very awkward place; as we were in the centre corner of the building, when standing on the balcony you are able to look into the neighbouring balcony to the right due to the positioning, acting almost as an invasion of privacy. The visitor staying in this specific room would smoke on the balcony frequently, meaning the smell would enter our room which was unpleasant. Not only this but our balcony was clearly a lot smaller due to its positioning when compared to the others. The bathroom was nice however the toilet roll holder was broken upon our arrival along with the button on the shower that changed the flow of water, both causing an inconvenience to our stay. The hairdryer provided was extremely hot and damaging to the hair and, after the cleaners had replaced our towels, we were provided wet towels that were completely soaked through. We also noticed stickers from a pair of EU 38 shoes stuck on the toilet room’s wall that weren’t left there by us, clearly showing that they had not cleaned the room thoroughly. When spending time by the pool, the music playing at the bar consisted of Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber and Sia repeated over and over again, with adverts played interrupting the songs. Even other guests were expressing their annoyance with regards to the monotonous repetition. This made our time by the pool far from enjoyable. When sleeping in the separate bedroom, I was able to hear other loud guests walking, talking and running through the corridors and even in their rooms. Another sound that made my nights sleepless was the noise of the taps and showers. After using the kitchen utensils we were given, they were left in the sink for the duration of our stay as, again due to the lack of kitchen utensils, we were unable to wash the utensils ourselves. As the cleaners did not collect them, they were left until we checked out. We ordered nachos by the pool and received a bowl of stale tortilla crisps with a bowl of guacamole. Despite this however, the worker serving us at the bar gave us two free beers as a result of our dissatisfaction.

Spotlessly clean hotel centrally located fir beach and town . Booked again for next year . We were Room only so can’t come t in good as we ate out and plenty to pick from round about . I would suggest paying extra for the pool view as the view we had was ok but could have been much better . Very small balcony area other than that have no problem in recommending.

Had a great week 1/2 board at this hotel with my wife and friends. The receptionist Ms Jesus helped me with a dentist problem, she booked me in her own dentist a short distance from the hotel. This for me is above and beyond. Thank you 😊 Every member of staff was polite and attentive, house keeping, who we never actually saw kept out room tip top. Used outside pools and bar which were all good. Food at breakfast & dinner was great, but as others have reported a little cold. This is the only reason I gave 4 not 5 (I would give 4.5 if I could) . The staff at dinning great, but I’d expect better facilities to keep the food warm. Cold selection of food was very good too. Had this every day ! I’d advise using the train to visit other parts of this region - at €2 per trip easy to get around and visit places. Would 100% stay again :)

Great breakfast plenty of choice of hot cold cereals breads sweet options and freshly made pancakes and omelettes Fantastic location and has its own lift to the top street, would return every single time to this hotel for these 2 reasons alone Rooms are lovely and roomy, very clean and was seen to by the maids every day of our 7 day stay, sun loungers and terraces are also lovely Couldn’t of actually faulted the hotel at all until the weekend. Would of recommended to everyone as a relaxing peaceful hotel just what you want from a holiday Negative The live music is on Thursday Friday Saturday. On the Thursday it was unbearably loud - being on the second floor pool facing it actually felt as though he was on our balcony singing. Feel like personally due to the volume this should not continue until 2330 and for the comfort of all the other guests (except the very few sitting at the bar watching him) it should finish a little bit earlier. Didn’t mind the singing just was on a little late On the Saturday an influx of groups of teenagers and children with less adults came in to the hotel. They ran around the hotel like a youth club and although it is at no fault of the hotel they caused so much disruption and noise to the roof terrace and were not apprehended by staff except once. They should of been repeatedly directed to the children pool on the bottom floor Also at no fault of the hotel but the room Next door to us had a party on the Saturday night and this continued until 4.30am. Had to tell reception a couple of times in which they did knock on but it continued once they had left :( So a great start to the week but was very busy and loud over the weekend, for these reasons I would consider a quieter hotel next time if I was to come over a weekend.
