I stayed here for five winter nights while in Malaga for a conference. First - the location is a one minute walk from the Cathedral and into the old city, with all of its restaurants, stores and attractions. And a five minute walk to the...More
Just arrived today for a three night break as a couple. Check in - seamless. Room - stylish, extremely clean, wide range of toiletries, robes, slippers, tech and an unexpected complimentary decanter of brandy for nightcaps! Also - I do love a pillow chocolate 😉....More
Although difficult to find by Car, the location is very central and in a pedestrian area next to the cathedral. Our room was excellent, very comfortable. A lovely hotel which is let down by the refuse collection at 2.30 am. The bins are located in...More

Proximity to the cathedral, shops, restaurants, museums and port. Location is great.
Upgrading work on the upper floors took out the roof terrace and pool area, but reciprocal arrangements in place with AC hotel opposite.
Very smart bar with pleasant and efficient staff.

Any city hotel with a rooftop pool will have limited space so it's hardly surprising it gets busy now and again. We have been going to Molina Lario twice a year for 10 years and never had a problem. This hotel is for the more discerning patron for its near location to the culture and amazing restaurants that Malaga City provides. If people want to lie in the sun all day then I suggest a hotel down the coast towards plastic Spain with kids running around screaming and thousands of sun beds everywhere or take a 15 min walk to the beach over the road past the Port. Molina Lario has been and still is the friendliest and best hotel in Malaga City and gives us everything that we require and I would class us as sunbathers. Have never heard a bad word about Molina Lario, if it doesn't cater to you're specific requirements go somewhere else.
