Despite awful rain, we were looking forward to our first stay in Malaga. We were recommended to stay at Molina Lario, the location was great, close to the port and all the tourist attractions and we had a great view of the Cathedral. Room was clean with good facilities. However the hotel lacked character and heart. Staff very cold and... More

We arrived late and only en route to our destination along the coast. The night staff were very helpful and courteous and our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious with choices of cold meats fruit and cereals. We are about to arrange a longer stay for 2017. Very centrally located hotel and handy for shops... More

Have enjoyed a delightful weekend in Malaga (despite non-stop rain!). There are many lovely museums, the town is filled with tasteful Christmas lights and it is a perfect destination for a weekend break.

The Molina Lario is close to the main road and bus route, just a few steps from the pedestrianised centre and cathedral. Ideal as a base to explore the old city and the port area. It is modern, all black and white, marble in abundance. Our room worked well, though we had a strange wobbly wooden frame over the bed,... More

Perfect location in pedestrian and cafe area and across the road from the water front. We stayed 3 days pre transatlantic crossing and we were able to walk to our ship to check in. Amazing breakfast and restaurant on site. Would definitely stay here again! Rooftop pool and views from there were a bonus.

We were overnight in Malaga the last night of recent On Foot walking trip in Andalucia's hill towns, and then in Cordoba and Granada--all in B&B's and small vintage hotels. Molino Lario, a sleek, modern tower, was a welcome luxury. RIGHT on the waterfront, at the city's gorgeous, modern dock area. Two blocks from the cathedral. A few blocks from... More

Stayed here for a four night city break in November 2016. Just the best location, opposite the cathedral and close to the Picasso Museum, the port and the main shopping area. Spacious first floor room, light and airy and very comfortable. Splendid staff both on reception and in the excellent bar. Good dinner in the restaurant on our first night,... More

Very nice hotel .. Very central. Comfortable and clean. Staff very pleasant .. Too cold to use the pool and outside terrace. You have to park in the parking across the road which is about a 5 minute walk with your suitcase. You get a 20% discount for your parking.

My husband and I stayed at the Molina Lorio in early Nov 2016. The hotel is very well located just off the Cathedral in Malaga. The rooms were spacious by European standards and very clean and quiet. The people at the front desk could not have been more helpful, even packing us a breakfast "picnic" bag when we left early... More

Very central hotel and the best bit is that no noise at night! Great for walking around central Malaga. Hotel staff attentive and friendly. Room was good size, clean and comfy bed and pillows. We sat in the bar for a few drinks more pricy than local places near by. Def recommend for a city break.
