Very nice place to stay and good service. Near the old city. You can walk to town . Many service bus and day trips to see the city. Nice galleries , good shops. Very good tourist information. Very easy to find things with a map.

Great place to relax and enjoy the panoramic views over Malaga after the steep climb up passed the Alcazaba and Gibalfaro. A little bit pricier than a downtown cafe but the scenery is outstanding. Only ever had drinks on the balcony. This was our 3rd visit to the Parador.

After long walk up the steep trail to Castillo de Gibralfaro, we popped to the Parador for lunch. It was actually a recommendation from my wife who had stayed there in her youth. The views from the terrace/veranda are spectacular and the setting very peaceful. The food was lovely. A medium price affair mind you, but the setting made it...

We have just spent five nights in this Parador. Our room has a balcony with a table, chairs, and a fabulous view over the sea, the city and the castle. The room itself is comfortable, the only downside being that there seem to be none with double beds! The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good, with...

We visited as a group of 6 in January for a short midweek break. We were delighted to find that the three rooms we had booked were situated next to each other on the same floor - the rooms had fantastic views across Malaga looking down towards the town and thankfully for our southwest facing balcony we could sit and...

Fantastic views of Malaga from all areas of the parador. Staff friendly and professional. Communal areas welcoming and relaxing. Walking down into Malaga very pleasant but more often took taxi or bus.

Clean but very plain rooms with no luxury or nice touches. The restaurant staff need some serious training. The buffet breakfast constantly ran out of dishes, which sometimes took almost a hour to replenish. No body in charge and waitors wandering around in slo mo. Food good and service better in the evening, but again, training needed. Fingers in the...

As everyone says views are great but there's more to it than that. Great hotel and staff, relaxed friendly staff. The walk into Malaga old town is only about 20 minutes and well worth it. We also sampled the hotel restaurant which was nice.

Looking down on the city with incredible views and as always nice comfortable rooms. However compared with many other paradoxes this one does not have many historical features. We arrived after the restaurant closed but the bar meals were perfectly adequate

For a relaxing and quiet stay then try this Parador. The views are stunning from the room balcony to the terraces. Some fixtures in the rooms are quite tired, but every where is spotlessly clean. Good selection at breakfast from the restaurant, which has excellent views of Malaga. The Parador is positioned by the castle on top of the hill,...
