The location and neighborhood is best in Malaga .... with the waves crashing outside on the shore just outside your window. There is ease and peace and friendliness with great access to a lot of amazing restaurants, including La Chancla's! Thank-you for a wonderful stay in Málaga!

Hotel La Chancla impressed me before my arrival offering to accommodate me in an "apartment" rather than a typical room because of the length of my stay....at the same rate. The apartment was a few doors down and included a kitchen and sitting room in addition to the bedroom. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff was incredible....

We stayed in the apartment. Hotel looked nice but apartment cold and dated and smell of sewage at door. Location as described by others but a lot of dog fouling outside apartment that nobody cleaned up. It was disgusting I complained several times at hotel but got no solution. Staff were nice but poor English. Also all Spanish channels.

The hotel La Chancla is situated perfectly distanced from Malaga city center; close enough for a little walk, far enough to be in rather calm surroundings; no car traffic. Further on, the hotel is situated directly on the beach. The rooms have a fantastic view overlooking the Mediterranean, they are clean and tidy, have a nice size and are even...

Loved the rooftop Jacuzzi, very clean modern room right on the sea front about 1 hours walk from central Malaga, but it's a lovely walk along the sea front. Couldn't think of anything to criticize. It's a small high quality hotel in a great location and friendly staff. Well done.

We booked a small apartment in this place and were horrified to be shown to a separate little house down the road. The ground floor apartment was scruffy and badly maintained. After complaining for two days, we were moved upstairs to a much nicer apartment in the same building but still a bit below standard. It's a pity because the...

Takes about 1 hour to walk along the promenade to get there Lovely breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere Roof terrace caught the sun all day with an honesty bar so you don't have to go to far for a wee drink Plenty of small restaurants to eat in...

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect, and the view is superb. We were there during an uncharacteristically rainy week, but the warm fire and excellent menu made it comfortable.
