I was staying at this horrid place for 2 nights only and if it wasn't for the plane, I would have left this dungeon straight away. It was dirty, smelly and was swarming with cockroaches!!!! Avoid the place at all costs!

Bathroom was ok, luckily, because the kitchen en the dormrooms were not so pleasant? Kitchen was very dirty, rooms smelled bad and were very humid. Could be really something cozy if cleaned better! Friendly people at the reception!

Staff was Nice, but the hostel was really shady. Matress was stinky, no airconditioning, bathrooms were ok, but water was cut off for an hour when we arrived, so No shower. It was cheap, but the beds were really smelly so I would not recommend this place.

My wife and self spent two nights here (28th and 29th June 2016)and were very disappointed with the shabby service and general run-down atmosphere of the place. Bear in mind that we have spent over 15 years in third world countries (chiefly sub-Saharan Africa) and are used to staying in primitive accommodation but we can honestly say that this backpackers...

I've been in quite a lot of hostels all around Europe and this is, with no doubt, the worst one: Bad location Bad environment Old furniture Bedding didn't look clean at all The receptionist was really kind, though. He didn't speak fluent spanish, but he was willing to help with everything Not recommended

The hostel is located out of the city center, but the bus stop for the city is pretty close as well as the beach. I also could reach the Feria just by walking..it is the only good thing. Generally I had impression the hostel was scruffy, you wouldn't like to cook my meal in the kitchen!! Bathrooms are very small....

The man at the reception was very friendly and helpful, which is really the only good thing about this place. Location quite far away from the city centre, but rather close to the beach, metro and train station. Cleanliness of the room is barely 'okay'. It's not really dirty, but it's quite obvious that the blankets aren't washed after every...

During our travels through Spain, we often come back to Malaga, we've tried many of the hostels in the area but the hostel we keep coming back to is the the Residencia Backpackers. The staff are very helpful, talkative and a pleasant to get along with. The rooms are clean but can be a bit cramped, there are plenty of...

Stayed sometime in August 2014. There's no fan or air con in the room. Though the directions stated that it was "near" to the bus station and a 15-min walk, it is not. It is really far from the bus station (close to 30 mins) though you are walking towards a straight direction. The cupboard was broken, and the lights...

Extremely dirty and smelly place. If you don't mind the fridge being full of rotten food, stains on your bed and dead insects on the walls, then you might be quite happy with your stay at this hostel. However, if you're hoping for a budget but still decent and clean place to sleep, then go elsewhere. The worst hostel I...

“All dorms are very comfortable, rooms that end in 3 have a bit more space but apart from that they all have lockers and good comfortable mattresses and space to store your backpacks so no need to trip over everyone´s stuff. For a price this cheap you can´t go wrong in any room.”

“For the price I´ve been just sticking to a shared dorm, but for a little extra you can have a lot more space and privacy. To be, my beds comfortable, there´s a locker for each bed and the bathroom is right next door. Perfect.”
