The accommodation is very basic, its just a big lodge with a few beds and a bathroom. Beds not very comfortable either. I did enjoy the experience though and the staff really do go out of their way to try and make the stay as comfortable as possible. Surprisingly we didn't have any major issues with the mosquito's and that...

We stayed two nights in one of the Masai Lodges. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the lodge was a delight. Being in the centre of the zoo you get too walk through bits of it when there are no other visitors. The cleanliness of our lodge was very good and it was nice to have a room with...

Excellent weekend away. Arrived on Saturday at 10am. Left the luggage in the car and walked around the park until we were allowed in the hotel at 12.30. We followed the recommended programme so went to all the interesting talks and workshops they offer, so seemed to be always busy! Went to meet the hyenas keeper at 11.00, then the...

Please accept our apologies for failing to meet your expectations. The route by jeep you refer to is the Serengeti Safari, a combined interactive programme, which takes place part on foot and part by vehicle. Participants are permanently accompanied by a guide and gain access to restricted areas, enabling participants to get very close to certain species, and even feed...

This hotel is like no other I have stayed in. Part of the Selwo Adventure and animal park, it is made up of a series of stone built huts with wooden roofs. The huts are basically furnished with a double bed and a small TV. Each hut has an en-suite bathroom with hydro shower or bath. The rooms are clean...

Despite having a home an hour from Estepona I thought it would be nice to spend a night here among the animals thinking we would be able to see them in the evening during their nocturnal meanderings. It seemed reasonably priced as the room per person included entrance to the park for two days, car parking and breakfast. I soon...
