Well located hostel with nice owners and classic aspect. It really reminds me to a movie set in some way. I´ve beem two times there already. And a sure there would be a third one if I´ll go again to El Puerto.

First, it was a pain sending them a deposit to reserve a room as they don't accept credit cards. We had to go to the bank to transfer money directly to their bank in Spain. Based on the reviews I'd read about this place, I suppose my expectations were simply too high, and my family was a bit let down....

`This is a gracious and charming hotel building. The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The central courtyard is cool and peaceful. It was a good to experience what felt like an authentic home of the wealthy 19th century merchant. We were disappointed however in the level of service compared with what we have experienced in a range of other...

We stayed in Casa No 6 for 5 nights. We had a number of places in mind when we arrived to El Puerto de Santa Maria and this place was the 4th place we went to see if we like. We loved it! This is a wonderful place with a great courtyard. It is a well maintained place. We loved...

We stayed three nights in Puerto, a great base for the area with the opportunity to pop over to Cadiz by hourly boats and to Jerez by bus (if you can find it) or train. The building is simply superb, an understated masterpiece of restoration. Owners are sufficiently low key to make you feel you are popping to an from...

El Puerto is a great base for exploring the Sherry Triangle, but it is hot and busy. Casa No 6 offers a wonderful cool and calm retreat from the hectic pace of life outside, yet is so handy for all the attractions of the town itself and other nearby sights. The reality is less polished than their website would have...

Initially we had been looking to stay in Cadiz but after nothing took our fancy there in terms of good value hotels we chanced upon Casa No6 in El puerto. This proved to be one of the best decisions we made. The casa was truly delightful and we were lucky to stay in an apartment in the attic which was...

Casa No6 is a beautifully restored old house in the middle of Puerto de Santa Maria. We found everything to be extremely clean and Alan and Penny were excellent hosts. As a base for exploring the local area, the location is ideal, but as has been previously noted, the facilities are simple. If you wish to spend time relaxing in...

Penny's experience in interior design is immediately obvious as you enter Casa No. 6, whose décor is more Parador than pensión. Not in a fussy or particularly sumptuous way, but in the choice of warm, tasteful decorative touches that bring out the best of this lovely restored casa-palacio, from the pleasant central patio to the large, airy bedrooms. You would...
