We arrived on the Sunday of the onion festival attracted by the prospect of parking next to the hotel and unloading the car have driven from England. The town was blocked off due to the festival. Two jobs worth on the barriers prevented that, a very helpful girl on reception came and helped us with the bags. Parking in the...

Value for money! Nice modern room, good breakfast, very clean and supreme central. Very tasteful interior. Has been renovated in 2012. Only drawback: no lift. Not allowed by the fire brigade. We staid at the 3rd floor, which is a good exercise, but if you have problems with stairs: think twice.

Downside ... No lift, minimal staff Upside Great location, comfortable rooms, free WiFi, beautiful breakfast If you travel light know where your going and don't need much staff interactions this is a wonderful place in the heart of the city.

This is a quaint and centrally located "pension" in an old building with charming solid wood staircaes (no elevator and 3 flights of stairs to the top). Breakfast is fine and varied but the only eggs are hard boiled and the coffee is filter coffee. Staff is helpful and freindly but the WIFI is not consistant throughout the building and...

A clean, spacious apartment with two bedrooms. Newly refurbished so the decoration is nice and modern. There was a little kitchen area in the flat so you can cook your own food if you want. Competitively priced and an excellent location extremely close to Goethe's Haus. Highly recommended.

This small and spare hotel is wonderfully located, just steps from Goethe's house and museum, and a pleasant walk from Goethe's summer house and other attractions. Our nicely-sized, very clean but somewhat austere room overlooked the main square. The woman who greeted us was friendly and very helpful—but beyond her, there appeared to be minimal staff. There is no elevator—and...

We stayed one night, travelling on holiday as a couple with a single friend. Nicely renovated hotel, modern and quite stylish. Air conditioning would have been an advantage. Our room overlooked the main square, we were only yards from the Goethehaus. Our friend's room overlooked the inner courtyard and had a small balcony, an advantage in the hot weather. Handy for...

Brand new hotel in a really tastefully renovated building. Wooden floors everywhere, also in the rooms. Noise isolation is very good. The beds are great and the shower furnishings are of high quality. Rooms are not the biggest, but spacious enough. There is no AC so it can get warm, but in this case you can open the window. I...

We stayed one night in Weimar and were glad to stay at the Hotel Pension am Goethehaus with our family of three. The room was a good size, very clean, very modern, and with a great view over the Goetheplatz, right across from the Goethehaus. You feel almost like you're breathing in all that amazing Weimar history when you stay...
