Nice accommodation right in the center with a minutes walk to Zwinger, Residence and Frauenkirche. We had a large comfortable room. Friendly and helpful hosts. Parking need to be booked and it is perfect.
Spacious, convenient, lovely large apartment in the middle of the old city. All clean, well supplied, a washing machine. Good service at the lobby as well
We have rented Aparthotel rooms before and were not disappointed!! Well recommended

Hi, the building work was only just starting opposite the Am Schloss when I was there in July and would definitely be continuing in January. You would need to call the Aparthotel am Schloss directly to ask about rooms giving onto the back. To be honest, I didn't find the noise a bother with the heavy double-glazed windows closed, but I am an early-riser so construction work at 7:30 in the morning wasn't a problem.
The beds are German-style: two twin beds pushed together with their individual bedding; however in the studio-room I was in, the beds are up against a built-in headboard with built-in bedside tables, so I am not sure to what extent pushing the beds apart would be a practical solution. The hotel staff are very nice so calling and asking them directly or emailing them with your queries would get you a response.
