I had a lovely stay here the end of September beginning of October for 4 nights. After a long flight we were greeted by the friendly Sebastian who helped us with our luggage to our rooms. The room was very comfortable. Everything is updated but, it does not have usb plug in for phone. The restaurant food was fantastic as was the morning breakfast. Don’t skip on the breakfast and have dinner here at least one night. I can not say how much the entire staff made our stay so wonderful. Front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were all very helpful and went above and beyond. Special thanks to Sebastian at the front desk!

Clean, well run and friendly. A little further out of town than expected but bus stop out side the hotel into town. Worth eating in hotel rather than go out. English spoken well. Would advise you do not have rooms at the back of hotel over looking the out door terrace. No AC so may be hot in summer

After walking over 100 miles, Hotel Eurener Hof was a great place to end our Camino. Excellent food, fantastic wine. A 20 min walk to St. Matthews and very easy to take the bus into town. It is away from the downtown hustle/bustle. The staff were very helpful in helping us navigate around town.

Hotel Eurener Hof is a gorgeous, traditional German hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and welcomed our kids and dog. The place is spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. We had a family-style room which was perfect. The beds were comfortable and our room was attractive and had everything we needed included big soft luxurious towels and we could open the windows for fresh air. There is a lovely, small indoor heated pool. The restaurant had delicious food with large sizes at reasonable prices and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the crockery, napkins etc were beautiful and made for a lovely ambience. It is a little out of the centre of town but there is good free parking on site. I highly recommend.

What an amazing hotel! We loved our stay here. A beautiful facility with great food and drink! The room was spacious and fit our family of 4 well. The pool/ sauna is also very lovely! It’s an easy bus ride into downtown Trier’s old town. We will stay here again and again!

A very lucky find on expedia.com as we were traveling back from Germany to England after a holiday. We chose Trier as a stop off and stayed overnight. I wish we could have stayed longer as the hotel is fantastic. It has charm and character, and the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff made us feel welcome, and spoke excellent English ( our German being very limited!)and the coffee and apple and rum cake we had on arrival was to die for. The restaurant is pricey for evening meals, but is worth every penny/euro The only slight issue for some maybe it is not within walking distance of the town centre, but for us it did not matter as it is a short drive/taxi trip. Would we go back? Most certainly, and will stop for more than one night next time.

This hotel has some good points. Room 223 was spacious and its bath tub and bed made for a comfortable room in July. The breakfast contained a lot of variety. The restaurant at dinner was not good during the two nights we went there. The dishes were overly generous in their portion sizes and it was a bit overwhelming; the quality was average and guest could benefit from smaller portions at lower prices. The Indian dish, The Indian Fire Pot, was not spicy at all. The seats are also spaced really close together. Still, this is an old-style hotel and I recommend it. The pool is a good one, and its location is relaxing. The artwork of the hotel is good, except for one vulgar painting facing the front desk. It's hideous, though perhaps they have removed it by now. But all the artwork on the floors above is interesting and the hotel is mostly well-decorated. I'll write again that the breakfast and pool and room are all fantastic. A bus stop is very close and the bus gets you downtown.
