    I stayed in Mainz for two nights as a nice mid point between Munich and Paris. Mainz is cheaper than Frankfurt and a more natural base for exploring the Rhineland.     I had been on a two week business trip where I was booked in large, efficient hotels with crowded dining rooms and high priced Internet access, so the Schwan was just what I wanted.     I stayed in Mainz just for one night for a business trip. This hotel was clean, quiet and charming, and located in a nice area of Mainz. I would definitely stay here again. The price was also quite good.
