The Hotel Krefelder Hof is located centrally and close to the city’s main railway station. Our traditional hotel offers you all the comfort you need for your business or private overnight stay, including the restaurant “La Brasserie”. When looking to explore Krefeld’s city centre, it’s just five minutes by tram from the hotel.

Our guests especially appreciate the sumptuous breakfast buffet. Business guests enjoy our professional service in the meeting rooms, large banquets and conferences with extensive event areas. Thanks to the hotel’s central location, you can reach the centre of Krefeld just as quickly as the Chempark, the Europark Fichtenhain, the Yayla Arena and the Grotenburg football stadium. From here, you can be at the Düsseldorf Trade Fair or Düsseldorf Airport in no time at all.

The fact that Krefeld is still an important economic centre today is also due to its favourable location in the middle of the Rhine-Ruhr region and its proximity to the Benelux countries, as

Generally poor and in serious need of renovation, chair in room was very worn, skirting board falling apart… Service was very slow. First room had no lights, second room only one plug worked, reception took 35 minutes to change rooms for me, poor! Hotel was clean and comfortable though and breakfast was good. Expensive for the standard of hotel,!

This hotel is an absolute gem and I hope it will be preserved as it is forever. My late husband and I were frequent visitors and never ever disappointed. It is set in a lovely park, close to the town centre, and a short drive away from the exhibition centre of Düsseldorf.
It was opened around 1967 and has never lost its charm. The entrance lobby alone is spectacular, large and airy, and tastefully decorated with items of the town’s history. Krefeld was famous the world over for silk and velvet manufacture and the display of ties, for instance, is just beautiful. The restaurant has an old fashioned, yet elegant, French, feel to it. The outdoor terrace overlooks some wonderful old trees. The food is excellent, often adapted to reflect the season, eg German asparagus around May, June and their famous goose dishes in November.
There are also beautiful, large celebration and conference rooms.
Breakfasts are sumptuous. There is a separate bar, again with an old fashioned vibe, yet perfectly modern at the same time, with a small garden area at the back.
The bedrooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished.
Last but not least, the staff cannot do enough for you. It really feels like home away from home when I now stay there on my own.

Deal via the postcode lottery.
Beautiful hotel inside with a rich history. Evening dinner (free) not recommended, but breakfast is great!

All employees are very hospitable and the voyer feels chic despite its dated appearance.

The hidden gem was the sauna where you could enjoy and relax undisturbed.

The building will soon be demolished and a new hotel will be built. It's a shame, because the interior can be called nostalgic.

Enjoyed it for now!

The room is quite old, but the bed is comfortable and the bath probably has been renovated recently.
Unfortunately the frigo bar is empty, no water in and there is not the courtesy water. If the bar of hotel is closed and a client is thirsty during the night what can he drink?
The second day I bought a bottle of water in the bar of hotel, 1 liter for 7 euros from my point of view is a shame.
Furthermore at my arrival i'm been nformed at the desk that the price of parking was 6 euros per day, but when I paid they asked me 11 euros and they said that 6 euros is reserved just for certain companies.
The staff of the hotel is really polite.

Unfortunately the services of the hotel, considering that is a 4 star is not adequate.

I booked this on a last minute and I paid for it. The room was okay but lacked many of the amenities I am used to. The beds are rock hard and is difficult to get a good nights rest. The internet is absolutely horrible!!!! I even paid for the upgrade and it still crashes. There is no gym/pool so no ability to get a workout in. The restaurant that is attached is way overpriced with a limited selection. To top it off I had to flag my server to pay in the kitchen and I witnessed a mouse run from one side to the other. Needless to say I have not eaten anything there again. This hotel should only be considered if it is a last option.

Hotel is quite large, located in a great park, large entrance, hotel looks dated, just like the room and not on the large side, just like the bathroom, but all in all fine. 6th floor view of lots of greenery as if you were in a wooded area. The staff is absolutely friendly and polite, helpful, you can't say anything bad about breakfast.
Just walked to the center in 20-25 minutes and back by tram. Stops almost at the door.

If you are coming here it is like going in the past. Rooms are big but for sure not new. The all hotel needs definitively a big renovation to be up to date. In my room 301, the Wifi was not working properly even with the business package!!! Breakfast buffet is fine

The hotel itself is ok, but i was not what i expected. This hotel was old, bedroom with old bathroom ( dark), bed was really hard. In overall too much expensive. The hotel is completly not standardized to Mercure’ around the globe. By the way, i missed a gym there, this is a Huge hotel and a Mercure, so it needed to have a gym.

Stayed at the hotel pre Covid. Visiting friends in Krefeld, ideal location on tram line to the centre of town and main station.
Unfortunately due to staffing issues since Covid, bar not open in the evenings., otherwise an excellent stay.
