The stay was very pleasant and the staff was friendly and accommodating. This was my first time here and I would stay her again in the future. It is in central location and is walking distance from shopping and restaurants

Straight forward and comfortable hotel away from the main street in Essen, but conveniently close to it and to the station. Beds were comfortable, decor is modern, service straightforward. Wifi was a little slow, and breakfast filling.

Stayed here couple of times during business trips to Essen.Just to say that this hotel and rooms are neat and clean. The only downturn is that if you get a room facing the main road it is quite noisy when keeping the window open - so ask for a room facing the back side. Facilities are good, but no water... More

Stayed at this hotel whilst in Essen overnight on business. Whilst the room was comfortable, spacious & clean and the staff on reception were super helpful and friendly by main recommendation for this hotel is for the fantastic food served in the restaurant - first class! The restaurant staff were again really friendly but I would be tempted to return... More

Rooms were nice but lacking extra pillows and toiletries. Had to call reception for extra pillow and got, literally, one. Location was good, right beside tram stop and a short walk to centre. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but we were able to leave our bags. Breakfast was €17 per person so we didn't bother.

This was a typical three to four star hotel catering for business users who stay a few days. The rooms were clean and clinical with limited, but adequate, amenities. Nothing "luxury" but everything that was needed. The beds were double size but for single occupation only served with single quilts and one pillow. More available on request but not otherwise... I stayed in this hotel for 4 days during the exhibition IPM. The normal rate for the htl is around 70€ and we paid 160€, so the price was more than double, but the services were not up to. the staff was quite polite but really cold with the guest, just one person who was at the bar the first... All in all too notch ! Very service minded staff in all aspects - from reception over restaurant to bar staff Some 5 star hotels would wind up short here ! Nice rooms - great breakfast ! A tip : try and get a deal via animod.de - much cheaper than at the hotel but normally only works in weekends

The room contains everything you need for a short stay. I requested during the reservation for a quite room which was organized well. We could easily park our car underneath the hotel but at the end of the day the parking was full. So try to arrive early in order to find a spot for your car! We visited Welcome... More

Although the hotel is next to a busy road, it's pretty well situated, with a few minutes walk you're in the city center. Room and bathroom is quite okay. Pillows are very flat, I asked for a double pillow. Breakfast was a bit dissappointing; 17 euro's is too much to ask for (too crowded, empty plates and baskets etc) .
