Detailed Reviews
This hotel is an old ‘deaconesses centre’ turned into an hotel about 20 years ago. Its an impressive historical building in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Driving up the driveway is like stepping into a Harry Potter movie. Nice! Personnel is very friendly. Location is nice and quiet. Rooms may be spartan to some, but they are clean , good beds and nice bathroom. Plus coffee/tea making facilities. Breakfast buffet was good. Nothing to complain about.

Interior is sober, very sober and in line with its history (convent). Rooms are spacious though with big windows and high ceilings. Bed was good, room was clean, only the water did not leave the shower leading each morning to a game of « avoid the flood ». Surroundings are very beautiful, less than 10 minutes from the airport. Breakfast fairly spartan . Price was ridiculously cheap: which makes it all in all really good value for money!!

Definitely one of the more unusual hotels I have stayed at, this converted convent looks rather like an old school or hospital building. But to their great credit it has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. We had a huge room, a slightly uncomfortable bed, and a very generous breakfast. It is located in a very quiet residential area about 10 minutes drive from the airport, in beautiful grounds. Reading the history alone makes it worth a visit.

A beautiful building, very well restored in a nice part of Kaiserswerth, a suburb of Dusseldorf. It is a very nice alternative to staying in Dusseldorf center. The hotel has a variety of rooms some more basic than others. The staff is very friendly and will help you efficiently to make the best of your stay. Public transportation is close by and a few nice restaurants as well. The hotel is located in a park which is nice and quiet, parking easy. The breakfast buffet is very good.

The hotel has a historical vibe. It is located in outskirts of Dusseldorf, in a very nice neighborhood. We stopped there for one night just to sleep over and continue our trip. Breakfast was fantastic. There are few local restaurants 5 min walking distance. Free parking is available. The room was spacious and spotless clean!

+1
If you choose to stay here you are prepared also for the atmosphere the building conveys inside and outside.
My first impression when I arrived on a rainy night was that the place was like a haunted house movie !
Also a faded black & white picture of 3 nuns in my room ( who must have lived here) did not exactly make me feel comfortable!!!
Apart from that, staff is really friendly and helpful and hotel is clean and well maintained.
Really close to the airport and one direct metro line away from Düsseldorf city center.

This place does not have a corporate feel at all. Everything is immaculately clean. Maybe bordering on a little spartan. May its the atmosphere it is trying to create.
Conference room wasn't a standard square box. It was oddly shaped with warm light, giving it a very pleasant appearance.
Conference lunch was a little disappointing. Felt a bit like a staff restaurant. Would have expected a little more than overcooked veg in a white hall with with tables dressed in white linen.

Hotel is situated just 20 minutes or so from the Duesseldorf airport. ABC bus took me to the Klemensplatz, from there just 5 minutes on foot. This hotel is more like a huge conference center with very pleasant rooms. It is so quiet here that I was almost anxious sometimes to go out and meet people. Not one peep at night. Located in a huge hospital complex, park like, this is perfect for a conference and hotel at the same time. I stayed for 5 nights, and I was most pleased. Spacious room, two single beds (both rather narrow), with a wonderful blanket and mattress. Room has no fridge, but a flat screen tv, a small tee boiler, a small desk, and a chest of drawers. They is no comfort chair, and the desk is very small. Free wifi works well in the room, though one has to get a voucher from the desk in the lobby. Staff very friendly and helpful, competent and efficient. Breakfast wonderful, nothing missing, everything you can imagine is provided, except for hot meat. Sometimes they even had venison bacon, very delicious. Conference room was wonderful, big, spacious, and yet not too large. AV material all worked very well. Loudspeakers and mikes were great.
Bathroom very spacious, but no tub. Shower worked well, like everything else. I would have liked more hooks or a bench in the bathroom, there is nothing to hang your clothes. Overall, a great hotel and highly recommendable. By the way, the little town of Kaiserswerth is a gem and worth a long stroll to visit the Rhine river, the cathedral, and the old ruined castle.

Hotel (more like a B&B) with charm, fusion of old and new. Situated in a suburb of Düsseldorf, very close to S-Bahn, good connections to Düsseldorf Fairgrounds.
Hotel is a former cloister, in a park, surrounded by big trees, therefore very quiet at night. Rooms are modern with some antique furnitures, modern bathrooms. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel also has Meeting Rooms and caters to groups for Lunch (very good lunch buffet, home cooked food).
Personnell very friendly.
Close by (walking distance 5 - 8 min.) in Kayserswerth are some nice pubs and restaurants, German and international cuisine.
All in all very good value for money.

Very Interesting Hotel once the house for the Kaiserswerther Diaconess Community.
The location within a park makes it an ideal place for conferences or celebrations, weddings etc. No Restaurant for the evening meal but for the groups, event or celebration the kitchen will cater.
The Town of Kaiserswerth with plenty of Restaurants within 10Minutes walking distance
so plenty of dining possibilities.
Closed to airport but better travel by Taxi
The staff is very helpful and friendly

It is a five to ten minute walk through a quiet residential area, you get tickets on the platform, trains every ten mins or so.
