Arrived early evening (9 people), booked in quickly, given our free travel ticket, no problems. Came down next morning to a delicious cold buffet. Rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, great shower, fluffy towels.Hotel near HBF where you can get to anywhere on trams and trains. The only grouch was the rooms facing the main road were a bit noisy if you... More

Very friendly AND helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very close to train station- don't worry about the neighborhood, felt safe even after dark. Travel pass included in room rate was a nice bonus.

The purpose of my visit was to see the EUROVISION song contest. Unfortunately, this also clashed with the Düsseldorf trade fair. The result? Rooms shortage, with prices at up to €300 per night. This is the most I have ever paid for any hotel room anywhere in the world. My experience? Average hotel, high prices due to room shortage. NEVER... More

I needed somewhere to stay in Dusseldorf after an evening flight in and before an early onward train the following morning, and the CVJM Hotel, being very close to the main railway station, fitted the bill perfectly and at a reasonable price. Don't be put off by either the YMCA label or the vaguely sleazy immediate surroundings: the hotel's rooms... More

Clean, but a very basic 'one-person-bedroom'. Bathroom was a big plus. Service is less than basic: don't ask 'm too much about what's going on in Dusseldorf... Breakfast was ok. 100 m from the trainstation, 10 m from a bus to the small altstadt.

This is an excellent hotel for people visiting Dusseldorf on a budget with a good breakfast. It is 5 minutes walk from the main train station with access to the whole of Germany. An additional bonus is that the hotel provides a travel pass valid for the length of stay for buses, trams and trains within the Dusseldorf area.

I loved this hotel. It's very clean, the staff very friendly and professional and the location is good. It's just a very short walk from the hauptbahnhof, just walk left if you leave the station. The hotel is modern and the rooms are well maintained altough the matrass of my bed was a bit hard. Breakfast is very good. On... More
