The Hotel Achenbach is a GREAT hotel as it feels more like a friends home, but with all the amenities and services of a first rate hotel. The property is in amazing condition and the staff is superb. I would highly recommend this if you have business or pleasure in Dusseldorf.

Second stay at this hotel within a few months and both times have had a great experience. Rooms are immaculately clean, and staff are always helpful. Breakfast is also a must!! Not my usual style of hotel but definitely a nice change.

Dear Julmog, First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about our hotel. It is of great importance to us if a guest comes to us more often: This clearly indicates that you feel extremely well taken care of with us! You say that our style is not really yours, and yet you prefer our hotel. We really appreciate that. Now you were with us in the cold winter months, which are also super beautiful because of the decoration and the Christmas markets, but in summer we have in our hotel a small special feature. There we open the gates to our beautiful, well-kept city garden, where you can enjoy the sun with a cold drink. We hope to welcome you again in the summer months! Your Team Villa Achenbach

It's a very comfortable and luxuriant small hotel, in an old fashioned way. Very clean and neat and well appointed, in our room was quiet and spacious, with a nice view of the street. The breakfast room is elegant, the table well set, and the choice of food and beverages

For that old time luxury this is the place!! Tucked up a quiet street, but only 2 minutes from the trams into the city, which is only a 10 minute ride away. Such a friendly and cosy hotel, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spacious and met our every need. Breakfast

Dear Christoph, thank you very much for your detailed feedback on your stay in our villa. The style of our house is - as you say - something special. It seems as if one has been thrown back into time, as the classical style has become extremely rare. You certainly have a completely different feeling to sleep here than in a hotel that is characterized by minimalism or in a hotel that accesses very modern art. However, we deliberately chose this style, as we wanted to preserve the times spririt of our villa. And the people who choose us are very happy to know our address. But it's nice to read that you also appreciate this unique style, although it doesn't suit your taste! We are also pleased that you enjoyed our breakfast very much. You have written that you did not expect such a choice at breakfast in our small hotel. So it can be said that we exceeded your expectations regarding this aspect, that's wonderful! We hope to see you again on your next business trip to Düsseldorf! Your Team Villa Achenbach

I don't think so, not sure about outside arrangements. I worked off calories walking to downtown and back. Great hotel; enjoy the breakfast buffet if you stay.
