As we decided last minute to go to Dusseldorf we called the hotel first. They couldn't say if they have a room (how?). They asked to write an email and they would get back to me the next morning, so I send them an email. No reply. When I called them on the road, she said she has only 1 room and that I should come over. She was not willing to inform more (about price eg). Once we got there, she had 2 rooms available: 1 for 185 euro (with a bedwidh of 140 cm! and one room for 235 euro with a bedwidh of 160 cm. And we could pay in CASH only. The room was oke, but the bed had linnen for only 1 person, also towels was only for 1 person. When we asked for it, we never received it. It was horrible. The breakfast was realy very poor. there was not much choice, moreover it was not fresh, not at all. I have never seen blue cheese with mold but here I have. The area is not so nice, as a woman I felt not so secure. It was not worth a penny, not to mention 235 euro's for only 1 night! Overal, I would not recommend anyone.

Small hotel with well designed simply furnished rooms. Wonderful showers. Very clean. Staff are very attentive and react to every comment. Located clise to the main business district and railway station. Internet a bit intermittant but not an open network. Breakfast offering is outstanding! A good range of freshly prepared foods from fish through to eggs and bacon. Beautifully displayed, a joy first thing in the morning.

This hotel feels more like a staying in a high-class dorm or tiny apartment, but it's excellent for short stays when you just need your room to sleep & shower. The people there are very kind, free wifi and very handy, locked parking space across the hotel! Received a tiny bottle of sparkling wine because of my birthday, which was very kind (but also literally so sweet it was almost undrinkable!) :-D

For our 3rd visit of D., we booked a double room on a last min. basis. We were placed in a tiny room, reminding of a single room, but with a 140x 200 cm double bed. It had a joint balcony with the room next to ours and was located on the hotel's top floor. There was no air con. and no wardrobe (or similar) to put our clothes in. Nevertheless, the room was tidy, had a flat TV, a small desk with chair and its own bathroom (no window). Upon our arrival, we got a parking space in an inner court across the hotel and the next morning we enjoyed a good breakfast buffet (no fresh juice or homemade jams). The staff seemed very helpful and we were overall OK with our stay, although we would clearly not recommend staying in such a room for longer than 1-2 nights.

I stayed in this hotel during Drupa Show, booking was organised by my company. Once arrived in the evening, after a long journey from Hong Kong and one full day on the show, the only thing you want is to stay and relax in a hotel. When I arrived, the person at reception told me that I will not stay in the supposed room for water issues. He said that I had to go to another room, outside of the building, like at 5 min walking away. We booked several rooms and as a team, we prefered staying together. At least, this is my opinion. Especially when you need to come just for the breakfast in the morning below the rain..Anyway, one of my colleague was leaving earlier, so I told them I would take his room. I had to insist to take his room...so it happened. The point is one would think that for 200€ the night (almost the triple of the normal rating, but all the hotels do the same Drupa) is to have a minimum size room with a window! There was no window in this room, no aircon...it looks more a 1 Star hotel that 3 stars... After one very bad night and because one of my colleague was leaving the day after, he proposed me to change and take his room. So, I ask to change to the person at the reception, the owner probably. When I told her to change, she asked why and then blamed me for not going to the room away of the building! Her way of speaking to me was just inappropriate!! And finally she refused categorically to switch my room!! Her argument: you can't change everyday of room! I asked her why? Because of the cost of the cleaning? anyway... I had to spend another 2 more days in this room. Lucky I didn't go to the other room located outside of the building because my colleague had to experience a fire alarm at 1 o clock in the morning! And because it is an appartment, he had to go by night up to the reception, it took one hour for fixing the problem...we were joking with my colleague about the fact that they did it on purpose because I was supposed to stay there! The worst is it was getting warmer and obviously, as there is no proper window neither aircon, it was very hot and humid. This hotel is just very bad (furniture from the last century, small and uncomfortable bed, apparently this is the norm for the other rooms too) but the worst is, as customer, I've been treated badly and with lack of respect. After discussion with my company, we will never go back to this hotel. The pictures on their website doesn't reflect the reality. And some would say it is not badly located...Well if walking 20 Min for reaching the center means well located, so yes it is not badly located.

Stayed for 3 nights in December. I was placed in a room across the street on the second floor where there is no elevator. The room was clean and tidy but with no English TV at all, no tea/coffee making facilities and a single terrible pillow. The bed seemed to be a double bed but with a single quilt ! The cold buffet breakfast was adequate but there is no restaurant or bar that we could find. It is reasonably well located for the town centre and local amenities and the staff seemed very helpful.

We stayed at this Hotel ~20 years back for over 2 months and I still remember every bit of it. This shows how nice, homely this little hotel was (and probably is now). At that time, it was known as Akzent Hotel Prinz Anton. Since our stay (business related) was long, they accommodated us in a R / RCI Apartment building nearby with Studio apartments for each one of us. The apartments were self contained with kitchenettes and queen size beds. The building had key card security and these serviced apartments were quiet, clean/ kept clean regularly the house keeping staff. The location is very good - 5 min walk to the Main Train Station (Hauptbahnof), McDonalds, Main Post Office. Shopping area (Königsallee) and Old City (Altstadt) are nearby - in brief, every attractions was about fifteen minutes (max.) by Tram / Taxi. I was very tempted to rate this hotel as 5 stars but for the yummy breakfast which was served only at the main hotel and the bath tub (no shower) in the apartment was small for a big and tall person like me. Feeling nostalgic already, I will surely stay at this hotel during my next trip to Dusseldorf.

Nice place to stop and shop from. Only a 1.5 kilometre walk to the town. We had a wonderful room and a great nights sleep. Nice and quiet - not near noisy streets or bars. Nice fresh breakfast too. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Get room 104. It's a cracker.....
