This hotel, although situated close to the red light district is very good. It is very close to the main railway station and a tram stop very close. The hotel is very comfortable with nice size bedrooms and a very good breakfast is served. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel was in a perfect location to the sights of the city as well as easy access to train station . I was able to walk to most city sights in under 10 minutes and walk to the train station in 5 mins. The local restaurants ,supermarkets, laundry, bank, etc are less than a minutes walk. The hotel website and computer operated for...

Probably it was just bad luck: single room, extremely small; wood/plaster walls separating (better: joining) the adjacent rooms. I could hear all noises until they fell asleep. The reception desk told me it was fully booked. But with the net, connected in the room, I could find no problem in booking a double for the same night. I felt cheated...

Spent one night here when visiting one of the plants in Mönchengladbach, hotel is fine, backyard looks a bit worn and needs serious updating. All TV channels where in german, which was funny at first but a tad annoying after a while. Bathroom was large and clean but as I most ceratinly was one of the first guests to get...

The only complain is that the room was so small like a cage. I didn;t expect that kind of quality hotel to have so small rooms. For me that i stayed only for one night it was ok but for someone that had to stay more that kind of rooms are not convenient.

Though close to the central train station, the Mercure is on a quiet corner within walking distance of the old city and the Rhine. The breakfasts are particularly good, the staff is helpful and the rooms well arranged. For a small additional amount, our son, wife, and nine month old arranged to have suite, with substantial room for crib, sitting...

this hotel is walking distance from the train station which is a real bonus if you arrive late in the evening. What is surprising is that the Hotel has a block of apartments ( where I stayed) ajoined to it. The room was fantastic... sitting room, wet room, bathroom and bed room.. I didnt eat in the hotel but in...

I spent almost 3 weeks in Germany and Dusseldorf was the last stop of almost 10 cities. I only get 4 or better star hotels and always close to the action, but in this case, this was the worst of all the hotels in this trip to Germany. It was not a terrible hotel but definitely not a 4 star...

We are now heading for Brussels after staying at the Murcure City Center in Dusseldorf for three nights. The location is great- the main train station is only a 5 minute walk away. They have excellent public transportation and there are many places within walking distance to browse around. I had read all the reviews with the complaints that the...
